Ika jumps in surprise and turns around like a released spring.

"Ah !" she shouts before falling on her knees while holding her chest painfully.

"Y-y-you scared m-me, g-give me a minute..."

Jane jumps in suprise and then  falls to the ground too clutching her chest breathing heavily panting in pain.
O-Oh I think I nearly had a-a heart attack.....i-i need oh god I feel terrified still....

After five long minutes of heavy breathing and awkward silence, Ika laughs at the situation after the pain is gone.

"Hahaha ! *cough* I presume you must be Jane then ? Sorry for my reaction, you really surprised me..."

Jane stands up shakily lightly laughing beads of terrified sweat running down her face.
S-So you have arrhythmia too then? And yeah I'm Jane Smith your ika right really sorry about scaring you."

Ika is speaking in a relatively soft voice :

"Arrhythmia ? No, that's not really it. I have a rib cage malformation that causes me intense pain if my heart beats too fast. Coupled with my lung problem, it's rather crippling."

She takes a deep inspiration, and her voice is back to a normal tone.
"So you have arrhythmia ? It must be harsh... Anyway !
It's a pleasure to meet you Jane. I'm Ika, Ika Yaki. And say, where are you from exactly ?"

She says so gazing with a marveled look at Jane's blond hair.

Jane blushes a little at the starring seeming to enjoy it before she takes her hoddie off letting her hair flow freely and gives a gentle smile and in a kind tone.
"Oh I'm from the United States Of America Washington state Seattle, near the space needle actually but yeah nice to meet you ika mean's like fish right? But either way you seem pretty cool."

"Actually, it's Ika as in squid."

She seems proud of it.
"The US ? Woah, it's actually the first time I meet a foreigner. How come you are living here now ?"

When Jane takes of her hood, Ika can't help but let out :
"Oooh, your hairs are beautiful..."

"My parents were extremely worried about my education and they thought I wouldn't be safe in a normal school so they sent me here...so I could receive one...it well they didn't have enough money to stay here and now...we'll I guess I just live here until my education is done...

Upon hearing the hair compliment jane's face is beet red And a goofy smile over takes her face and in a cheerful voice and in a thoughtless tone clearly said in the heat of the moment.
"Thank's Your very beautiful too!"

Ika begins curling a strand of hairs around her finger, a bit embarrassed, but nonetheless happy.

"Ah, you think so ? I'm not used to getting compliments..."

Remembering what she was just doing, Ika gets back to unpacking.
"Sorry Jane, I should finish unpacking my stuff first."

Jane nods quickly lightly shaking.
Yeah I need to unpack all this medication the nurse gave me....t-theres so much....
Jane goes to the bathroom and organizes the medicine neatly and into rows starting with what she needs to take first.

After finishing unpacking and ordering all her belongings, Ika sighs in relief. Not busy anymore, a question crosses her mind. She speaks to Jane from across the room.

"By the way Jane, why do you hide your hair under a hood ? Are you shy ?"

Jane sits on the bed after organizing her medicine and thinks for a few seconds.
"It's my big bros hoodie and I guess when I have my hood up it feels like he's watching me...yeah I Know how stupid that is but I love my brother so much hes always been there when I needed him...when i had the heartattack that showed i had arrythmia he stayed by my side whenever he could and he'd make sure i was always smiling and laughing no matter how sad and scared I was so..I guess I wear my hood up becuase I love my big bro.'
