Of course, Twin is neither man nor woman but an unholy eldritch abomination like every other Bay12er. The difference is they hide it better.

((No way they would be able too with a suit :P. Try putting a blanket over your hand and messing with the phone. If it still works, add another one, then a pillow, to get the effect. She could have it *inside* her suit , but manipulating it there would still probably be difficult.))

"...The whole time? If it doesn't work, don't waste the battery. We might be able to use it for...something? A flashlight maybe? I could turn it into a head lamp..."

No signal. No internet connection. ((They'd be running primarily off of nuclear power. Though with no one to maintain them, most of them would have undergone a melt down. Those with automated systems would have shut down to avoid melting down. No wind generation. Hydroelectric is swiftly becoming not an option. And I don't know of many solar farms in Oklahoma. I'm also gonna make a story post in about ten - fifteen minutes.))

((Theoretically, they would have had some backup power that would have been sent out once the main sources stopped working. Without a lot of drain on it, some of it *could* have been left in the grid. Plus SOLAR is cannon :P. This is my excuse to not make Daniel look like an idiot :P.))

No connection...

"As expected. Most of the survivors where preppers anyway, they would have had...more secure...methods of communications like the HAM radio."

In the Auto Part shop, you find a few tools that were lucky enough to be spared the cold welding process. A few ratchets, a few wrenches, a pretty good sized toolbox, a small air compressor (No batteries), a sledge hammer, and a full quart of oil. Seeing as how you've picked the place pretty clean, you decide to move on to some of the outlying farmlands.

You stumble into the farmlands just outlying the town. It was dusty, the plants withered and dead. With no wind, they went nowhere. The houses are devoid of food, most having exploded or withered. However, in one of them, you find an open gun safe. There are two guns in the safe. A Colt Dragoon, and a good ol' single-shot, breach-action shotgun.

((For now, I'm going to count anybody who hasn't posted in three of my story posts out of the rolls for inventory. When it comes to stuff like weapons and mods and stuffs, you guys decide who carries what. Once you figure out who carries what in the OOC, I'll fix your weights. I will implement a carry weight and have it done up soon-ish. It won't be the same as what I said earlier, but that's because having a carry weight of 60 pounds is unreasonable and unrealistic.))

Alexis picked up the shotgun from inside the safe, examining it and confirming that it still appeared to function properly.  She glanced at the others.  "Anyone mind if I hang on to this?"

Caroline picks up a wrench, flipping it in her hand. A weapon, just in case.

Daniel, meanwhile, picks up the Dragoon.

"Where they an antique collector? Its not a weapon I'd choose to take into a fight, but its one I always wanted anyway anyway. Lets hope it still shoots."

Alexis picked up the shotgun from inside the safe, examining it and confirming that it still appeared to function properly.  She glanced at the others.  "Anyone mind if I hang on to this?"

"Its fine, but you gotta let me modify it for vacuum use when we get the chance. I should also take it apart to make sure everything is working. Is there ammunition anywhere around here?"
