((Male characters don't get to be protaganists unless they are extremely boring and generic! Not actually serious about protagonist thing while my character is important to the starting plot aka before the game there no more important to the rest of the players in game.))
"Okay Daniel... I hope you're right. "

((Ha! Daniel's so generic I haven't even decided on a personality yet! Besides, his name is in the title. His name is now Daniel Airlock Gal, making it impossible for him to not be MC.))

Alexis looked up from checking the gauges to confirm the air integrity on her suit, one of the three they had cobbled together from spare parts as there hadn't been enough for everyone.  "I'd like to stop by our family's farm as well, if possible.  Even if..." she paused slightly.  "Even if there's some faint chance."

"Alex...The atmosphere left the planet. That isn't something you can survive without planning. If they did survive, they wouldn't be there anyway. I would understand if you wanted to make a stop to bury the bodies and pay your respects, but don't get your hopes up too much. We all...have to move on, right?"

((Can you guys just not. This isn't the kind of game that even has a protagonist at all besides the players as a group.

Also, your text color is extremely difficult to read on default.))

"We should go to town first, yeah. Although it might have been picked clean by now."

((Spoken like a true side character.))

"Picked clean by who, exactly?"

Alexis hit the side of the airlock with her fist, the sound of the thump strangely muffled by the fact that without air, it could only reach her ear via conduction through her arm and suit.  Just another reminder of the strange calamity.  "I know that!  I...I know that."  She closed her eyes for a moment, looking away from the others.  "It's been weeks, too, weeks I sat here and did nothing.  I just...I'm sorry.  You're right.  I just...I need to see for myself.  I won't ask anyone else to come with me, and I'll come with to the town first if that's what we decide."

"They are uncommon enough to not pick apart a town in a couple of weeks. Food doesn't rot well outside of an atmosphere, right? And other things, like tools and weapons, are something that people usually only get one or two copies of. Not even a prepper picks up every wrench, screwdriver, and rifle he comes across. There is definitely plenty left in town."

"There wasn't anything you could have done. They would be knocked out in the time it took to breath twice, and dead within minutes. If...its any consolation, I theorize that the atmosphere left slow enough that the air would become thin, mostly nitrogen, in minutes. It was likely a painless nitrogen asphyxiation, rather than....well rather than anything else really."

((Okay, back in business for the moment.))

Caroline suggests going to the nearby town. ((I assume that everyone agreed)) You all start walking along the street towards a small scattering of houses and the familiar gas station. You cross the empty highway and see cars that have crashed long ago. The occupants either lying just a few feet away or still in their vehicles. They look like they are still locked in a fight for oxygen, long after they died. Birds lay dead below the eaves of houses, in gardens, hanging onto power lines. The EZMart where you would hang out lies at the intersection of 3rd street and Grand avenue. Down the street from there is T&S Auto shop. Across the street, with a semi-diesle seeming to sprout from it, is the post office. Down the way is the school. It'd been a few years since you'd been there, even before the end. The houses all look exactly like they did when everyone died and the world kept turning. Across the railroad, is the town hall. To the east, is Tishomingo; oppositely is Ardmore. There is a highway going north through many lesser towns and communities.

"So much for slow and painless..." Alex murmured, her suit radio not transmitting to the others.  She continued to follow the others somberly, not willing to look at the dead bodies.

Leslie checks a few of the cars for valuables.

Most of the cars have nothing more than forgotten crumbs of food, spare clothing, cigarettes, phones and their respective chargers, and work related stuff. Some are so mangled that not even the jaws of life could pry anything of use from them.

But, in spite of all the death and mayhem and destruction, there are a few vehicles with some useful things. In a small white car labeled: Victory Home Health. You pry open the trunk and you find a few medical supplies, like Medical tape, various pills, and lots of band-aids. You find a truck that would ordinarily have tools and the like, but, they all require compressed air to function. You do find a roll of duct tape.

((But I was the one who suggested going to town  :'())

"At least we have duct tape now. We can use this to patch holes that pop up in our suits, at least temporarily. The only thing I need before we leave is some food, something to drink, and some tools. Maybe some materials to modify our suits. The EZMart probably has food left, and the auto shop has tools and other supplies. Anything else we need? Might need to make a list."

((I'm sorry about my lack of posting on this, my mother has my phone and that is my main method of posting on anything.Right now, I'm having to resort to using the computers at school. I will most likely not be able to post on Friday.))

Daniel walks into the EZMart. He sees the cashier laying on the ground mere feet from his post at the register. Some customers are laying over each other as if having died trying to find air higher up. There are various chips scattered on the floor, their bags having exploded from the differential pressure. Some of the water bottles have burst and spilled their contents to boil in the lack of atmosphere. On the shelves are packages of candy (once again exploded(unless they were in a tight wrapper)), jerky, cigarette lighters, burst chip bags, and bits and pieces of equipment that are no longer able to be lifted from the shelves. The back refrigerators, long since working, contain an assortment of beers, sodas, and water. Most of the ones in bottles have exploded, but anything in a can is still structurally sound (-ish).

You retrieve two cases of canned soda, four bottles of water, six packs of beef jerky, and seventeen wrapped candies (I.e. hershey's bars, reese's cups, etc.)
