Could you activate this? - Fisk showed Dustan inactive repeller.

wait a second.. The only reason it would go inactive is if there was...

[2] Dustan ordered controller to take Fisk inside medical barrack, but colonel wouldn't go without active repeller. He took his communicator and sent a message.

*Colonel Fisk Black reporting. CHP Dytyatki has been overrun. The survivors will displace to there in a hours.

[2] Bundyra replied. *Stay in Dytyatki. Our patrol should arrive there shortly.*

[5] Following his intuition Dustan turned on-guard and using his Dragunov's scope he took a look at only possible entrances through which a jellyfish could enter.

[2] There were no traces of mutant. There must be another reason why artifact is inactive.

[5] At the same time Bill took a seat on one of bigger ammo boxes in armory and opened canned food - a meat ration. He never suspected that it could be so delicious!

[2] Giennadi took the recorder and cartridges to his hideout, then prepared everything to start recording. After activating the recorder, he could only leave out some simple slogans about fighting together against fascist forces and safe spot in Prypiat. Overally, the record certainly wasn't the best of Giena.

[1] Wandering around Gorodizche for some more Nikolai received more signals. After a while of searching for their source, Nikolai finally found the source of unusual radio signals - it was a controller!

Marley

Go move forwards, look for signs of human habitation.

[6] Marley trudged through forest, wandering a really long way. But he made a huge circle and got back to place through which he entered Zone - CHP Dytyatki!

Jak

Head to higher floors, keep a metaphorical eye out for prey.

I'll put 1 point in Ambusher, Detection, and Predator Intuition, each.

[1] Jak left the room and after scanning around the room, he found a staircase but it was collapsed. There was no way to leaver cellar using stairs.

К черту это. Have it back. - Fisk thrown the artifact to Dustan and he tried to catch it, but did it too clumsily and he hit himslef with the artifact in the face! It stunned him and would surely give him some bruises!

Bill started cleaning up the mess, he started moving one of bodies slightly eaten by ghoulish hounds and then a strange blob of acidic jelly jumped out from under the body!

[4] Giennadi turned on air and started singing "Katyusha". His performance so good that it really seemed just like the original, bringing good old soviet atmosphere to the radio.

[5] Then after he finished singing, he gave some weapon maintenance advices on-air. He actually reminded himself some good tricks which would help him shoot better.

[2] Some dry soviet slogans about supporting soldiers, dealing with army members and to whom a good bolshevik is responsible concluded Giena's brilliant performance.

Nikolai quickly drawn his AKM and shot a few bullets. Controller tried to use psionics to create a protective force field, but instead it propelled bullets right at it, making them deadly! The controller died.
