Yeash, Am I the ONLY person in the Zone you buggers are after? If you keep this up I'll end up having to Blow your brains out! - stil walking, Lorence tries to threaten the ghoul.
[Dustan: 2, Ghoul: 1] It just stopped following and stared blankly at him with his empty eyesockets. This was somehow unnerving and made Lorence unable to go on - he just stared back at the ghoul. They both were staring at each other for a while.
[6] Clouds of radioactive dust still move on the sky. Rapidly speeding up until they started forming radioactive hurricane moving right in Lorence's and ghoul's direction!
[3] Nardo continues running, trudging through forests and then getting back to road. A military truck just drove past him, but it seems that soldiers have either ignored him or didn't saw him. This means that a border outpost or even CHP might be close, so a way out of the zone might be nearby.
[1] Nix continues to fly towards the opening, eagerly waiting for the moment when he'd be able to leave the chasm, but then he notices that there's burner anomaly covering the hole!
[5] Viltriskia moved towards the crashed truck, and getting inside the open cargo. There were a few bodies inside, someone had to get out of the crash alive. Luckily for Viltriskia, corpses weren't looted so he could take some rifles and sidearms, ammo for them, armor and health kits. We best...ummm get going. - he broke the silence that appeared after Fisk spoke through communicator.
Hey, uhhh, Truck Guy. Who was driving your truck? - Looking at Dustan Fisk started interrogation, but Viltriskia answered instead. I wasn't in the truck, I was hiding. I came here through an anomaly
This reminded the soldier about stalker's disappearance when they met swarm. Not you, though I could and should shoot you for desertion, count yourself lucky I don't. I meant the guy from that truck that just crashed.
Who even are you, or rather who do you work for, nemnogo der'ma - Viltriskia got quite suspicious about Fisk.
"small group of thugs I hired for artifact hunting. Idiots thought it was a good idea to pull weapons at the goddamn checkpoint, and then jacked the truck. I was trying to get in semi-legally this time around and they went and ruined it.
Hey, I got a small first aid kit in my bag. You can have it if you'll help me get out of the zone. I need to cut my losses as it stands..." - Dustan finally spoke.
Yeah, well, you people had better get a move on. - Fisk pointed at Dustan and said - Especially you. Then he warned them about incoming military patrol - There's a military vehicle coming soon and if they see you and recognize you, most of us won't see daylight again. Or anything for that matter.
Can I join you? I have no clue where I am. - Viltriskia asked, but neither Fisk nor Dustan payed him attention.
Dustan decided that captivity or even jail are better than death, so he'd go with them. I'll take my chances. Just tell em that you caught me after the truck crashed, and that I didn't put up too big of a fight. Restrain me if you feel it'll make it more convicing, but I'm still bleeding out. I'd rather see soldiers over seeing the reaper.
Fisk thought about a good way out of this situation, and concluded that he might take them with him as well. I'd say you guys are lucky me 'n' Sergei didn't shoot you in sight, but I'm feeling generous today. I'll tell them that you guys happened upon us and that you, truck guy, were kidnapped along the way by the truck bandits. They were killed by acid jelly and you helped defend against that and these ghouls. Sound good? And you other two are also included in that.
[4] The military truck finally appeared and stopped. Some soldiers went out of it and noticed the group.
[2] Then clouds of radioactive dust appeared again, but this time there was no wind to blow them away and they started to slowly settle down.
