After getting Lorence out of flesh giant's body, Nix decided to check if he was alright. Getting eaten by flesh giant isn't happening too often. You okay? Lorence looks at the wound on his arm, but its nothing serious so he says Yep, Now where did that can of food go..?
[2] Seeing that everything with Lorence is alright, Nix searches out bed in the darkness and lies down on it. For some reason, he felt uneasy and couldn't fall asleep. There was something hanging in the air. It wasn't dangerous, but rather... weird.
[6] Lorence wanted to fetch out his can of meat. It wasn't an easy task in the darkness, especially that he had no light source to aid him. He wandered around the barrack room, passing by Nix lying in the bed, when suddenly he mistakenly kicks his can of meat and it flies somewhere in the darkness... and after a while something is thrown back at him!
[4] Lorence was able to recognise a dark, blurry shape flying back at him as his can of meat, and manages to catch it!
[Reacher: 5, Lorence: 6] Suddenly floor tiles just nearby burst open and a humanoid shape emerges from the hole! Lorence was spooked by this jumpscare and flipped over his own leg, falling head first into the hole through which he escaped from flesh giant's body!
On the dark forest road, full of anomalies and mutants...
Dustan with his group of hired thugs just passed by a group of strangers that were fighting with mutants. He thought that it might be a good idea to help them, so he shouted to the driver Stop the truck! We got other people over here!
[1] Dustan still holding the repeller in his hands, noticed that as the truck was slowing down, the artifact started to blink and cease shining. Suddenly he and driver both heard a strange bubbling noise... the jellyfish mutant jumped down from the truck's roof onto front window! It was fully translucent on it's edges, while middle of mutant was almost opaque - it was controlling acid's within it, waiting for the right moment. Now that it was right in front of desired artifact, the mutant pushed acid towards the glass pane and it started cracking and slowly melting, layer by layer under effect of this unusual acid. Driver tried to speed up and use brake so momentum would throw jellyfish away, but both the gas pedal and steering wheel have jammed! First the truck hit a boulder with front, then flied rolling a few times and hit a tree with it's side!
[Jellyfish endurance: 4, Dustan's endurance: 2, Thugs endurance: 1] The mutant got squished when the truck hit a boulder, but it wasn't even slightly hurt! Jellyfish simply regained it's previous shape and started wandering around the wrecked truck, searching for a way to get it's repeller. Dustan was heavily hurt during the crash, he got a few broken ribs on left side, broken left arm and leg, with leg receiving most damage - bone torn through flesh, it was moderately bleeding. The truck must've been hit right in the middle. He's also got a heavily mauled and bleeding nose after the impact. The driver is dead, right side of his body mangled beyond recognition. There are screams coming from the trailer - not screams of dying or heavily wounded. Something surely happened to the brute thug leader and few others, and now thugs started to fight between eachother to survive and get all they can out of this ordeal.
[Fisk: 2, Ghouls: 4] Fisk wanted to let the truck pass by... well, not going to happen. There are more important things, like stomping in skulls of ghouls. He got to a closest ghoul and started stomping it in the head, but his stomps weren't strong enough to cave in a skull. Then one of ghouls caught his head while he was stomping and tried to drag fisk into swarm crawling on the ground!
[2] Sergei tried to help Fisk, but this one ghouls was unusually strong. They were unable to break it's grip on Fisk's leg, but luckily they had enough strenght not to be pushed inside the swarm.
[6] In the forest not far away from the road, Viltriskia after witnessing truck's crash and the two's struggle with a ghoul, decided to climb down the tree and grab those balls that crusher shot out. It took him a while to find all of them, and when he was done, he went towards his previous companions. Wounded and whole in bloddied clothes, Viltriskia triumphantly approached his companions saying Don't worry comrades I killed them all! Suddenly the chitin ball that he was holding in his hand started squirming, Viltriskia dropped it to the ground and it opened, Man-eater shooting out of it unharmed by crusher anomaly!
[Man-eater: 4, Viltriskia: 6] The mutant immediately charged at Viltriskia with it's mandibles! The stalker managed to just barely jump back, falling on the ground. When the mutant was approaching, he thrown balls that crusher made from wolves, mutant caught it in it's humanoidal hands, then opened chitin plates on it's back, revealing insectoidal wings and flied far away!
Right that was strange. - Nardo quickly commented after witnessing strangeness of this encounter. Then he went back to his business - picking up rocks and throwing them at ghouls.
[Nardo: 3, Ghouls: 6] He wanted to grab one huge and heavy stone that was lying close to a ghoul that was holding Fisk's leg, but then the ghoul decided to take it for itself too! With one hand it was keeping both Fisk and Sergei in a struggle, while with the other it was fighting with Nardo for a rock!
Dustan: Status changed to Heavily Wounded - broken left ribs and left limbs, mauled nose.
Ghouls: One is acting against the group, rest seems to be just crawling aimlessly.
Updated info about jellyfish and Man-eater.
