Turn 64
Sun comes down and the Moon rises, it's night. A really dark, moonless night. Some ominous uneasyness can be felt in the air, as if something big was about to happen.
Players receive +2 to rolls due to latest turn delays.
Electricity and temperature based anomalies are always detected. -2 to detecting all other anomalies.
Due to unusual darkness, navigating without light source is really hard.
Reachers receive a +2 ambush bonus, while controllers receive -2 psionic penalty. Ghouls aren't affected.
Lorence "Lucky" Jackson and Nix
Quickly, I have to Shoot It in the EYE.
See if I can wake up any quicker
[Lorence: 4 +2, Flesh Giant: 4] Before flesh giant starts chomping, Lorence grabs his rifle, aims at the place in which he thinks that mutant's eye is and shoots. Flesh giant leaves out a loud wail and falls dead, but Lorence is still inside it's maw! What's more, the mutant when dying has fallen on his mouth, blocking Lorence inside the corpse!
[1 +2] Nix breaks free from the pleasant dream he had, and notices that it's so dark that he can barely notice anything. He thinks that he can see the flesh giant lying in the middle of the room, it's squirming lightly.
Flesh Giant: Dead
Nardo Polo and Fisk Black
Regenerate my lung.
If someone decides to keep fighting then sigh and start throwing my good knives at ghoul knees.
It's ominously dark, but electric based anomalies in the area light it up, drawing attention of mutants, undead or alive.
Now this might sound a tiny bit insane, but what if we run away instead of trying to fight and -I'm not saying we'll fail and get our faces ripped off- but there's the chance we'll die and get our faces ripped off and I don't know about yous but I would slightly rather having a face and a drink and a whore and my swords back than lying here as a ghoul with its face ripped off, and these ghouls have nothing I want that bad and we have no reason to kill them except to stop them from killing us, at least I don't, so I really think it's in all our best interest to run away and leave these ghouls to enjoy their anomalies and leave us to enjoy the hedonistic pleasures of not being dead. I mean I don't have that much to live for so if one of you decides you would rather beat up some innocent ghouls than keep your blood and organs inside or you just have delusions of invincibility then I guess I'll stay and help you kill them, or if there actually is something to gain from this in which case I deserve to know and exactly one third of the profit give or take, but otherwise I think it's in all our best interests to flee. - Nardo says.
He was thinking about regenerating his lungs due to special properties of his drugs, but he didn't knew that fried lung requires a transplantation, and that his drugs actually slow down processes of regenerating cells of his body.
See, while that's all nice and fine, what's gonna happen if we don't at least try to kill them? some random bastard is gonna walk up on them and get his face ripped off. I'd prefer to prevent that from happening. So we stay and fight and possibly die. - Fisk makes his point.
I guessss. We should also find some way to mark all these anomalies so no one stumbles into them.
[Sergei: 1 +2, Ghouls: 4] Sergei quietly takes his flashlight, mounts it on rifle and lights his way around ghouls and anomalies. He starts shooting, wounding some ghouls but not killing any.
[Nardo: 4 +2, Ghouls: 3] Seeing that Sergei continued shooting and that Fisk stated his opinion, Nardo takes just one of his throwing knives and throws it right at a knee of a ghoul. This starts unexpected chain of reactions - all the undead have fallen down just like domino bricks and a few have been pushed into charged field. The ghouls that have fallen into anomaly were previously shot by Sergei, and bullets that lodged in their bodies started reacting weirdly within the anomaly. Bodies of the undead have literally exploded, ending with a gory rain. It wasn't dangerous on it's own, but after a while a horrifying howling could be heard.
Swarm: 13 Ghouls. Immobile, on the ground.
The thing that howled: Attracted, incoming.
Nardo: Lost one steel throwing knife.
Dustan Hache
Looks like I need to time it. Wait until the acid wave is at it's closest to me, then jump over it and try to grab the artifact.
It's really dark and Dustan can't see anything around. Luckily, the artifact that rolls towards him give out a strong, yellow glow and he can see some masses of acid moving.
[2 +2] Dustan Just waits it out, then when intuition tells him, he jumps to the right, just barely fitting in the tight low acidic shaft, then he managed to crawl inside acid-safe bubble.
Dustan: Received Repeller artifact
Viltriskia Nikita
Push the mutant into the crusher anomaly and then run away from it
[Viltriskia: 2 +2, Man-eater: 3] Viltriskia got a slight advantage when they started tumbling and punched it in it's really sensitive mandibles and stunned it. After a while of tumbling and getting some slight scratches and bruisings, they both stop and Viltriskia stands up then tries to push the mutant into crusher, but it's too dark to see, and the mutant is rather heavy.
