Turn 37

Lorence "Lucky" Jackson and Nix

[4] Lorence being completely safe on his branch, decided not to mess up anything more and just watch Nix fighting with the ghoul.

[2] Nix tries to push the ghoul back, to no avail.

[5] Then he decided to knock it off himself with a strong bash of his rifle's stock. Nix strikes the mutant so hard that it crushes it's skull and pushes it back, into the green mist. Then he runs up the stairway and jumps to the oak from the balcony. Just in time, as the deadly green fog covered whole area under the tree.

The truck stops and you all go out of it. Two scouts were sent to check security of the labs.

[1] They come back after a while. It seems that the place is under an alert, with it's front compound heavily fortified and soldiers patrolling the area all the time. There is also a sniper on the guard's tower. Breaking in won't be so easy, but you've got a squad full squad, ready for action.

[3] Despite the darkness, you see some buildings in the distance. You are just about to reach one of them.

Fisk Black

[Fisk: 5, Ghouls: 1] Falling on the ground, you caught arm of the ghoul... which fallen down with you. The armless ghoul tries to attack you, but it's stopped by your fist. With one powerful punch, you crush it's rotten face into a pulp, then kick his body away. You stand up and furiously tear your way to the truck. Luckily, the keys are still inside. You must move quickly, as the acidic mist is getting closer.

[Driver: 2, Ghouls: 3] The driver has a slightly harder time fighting these ghouls. A group of them attacked him and clawed him slightly. They have an advantage over him, and it seems that he'll get killed if someone won't help him.

[6] Irene waits beside the door, waiting for anyone to come in. The silence thrives unbroken for... quite a long time. It seems that nobody is coming and she is just waiting her time.

Upon seeing the heavily fortified labs, Nardo says:

- "Well I think we should form a plan and not just rush in all Leeroy Jenkins like.... Hmmmmm, any ideas?"

[1] After a while of consideration, squad leader decides that frontal attack would be best and sends a few mercenaries forward.

[6] You finally reach the closest house and knock to the door, but nobody opens. You see someone open the window and lean out... aiming a rifle at you!

[Person with a rifle: 1, Dustan: 3] The person shoots but it's horrible aim allows you to dodge the bullet.

((I think that since you're out of the Zone it's time to decide whether you'd want to get your summary right in the next turn (skip all the way to reaching Dustan's goals) or do you want to continue all the enormously long way until you'll get somewhere where you could sell artifacts.))

[1] You try to turn on the truck's engine, but it's not working! The green fog is coming ever closer...

[Driver: 1, Ghouls: 2] The driver still tries to fight with ghouls, but he falls on the ground over-exerted. Strangely the ghouls fall on the ground and shamble in random directions, giving him some time to recover.

Tell the driver to get in the truck. If he does, give him the wheel, if he doesn't make it, continue to try and start it so I can run the horde down and get through this ominous fog.
