[4] You kick the skeleton off the chair and jump on it, then scramble up the hatch. It's a bit dark and stuffy in here. As you move, you suddenly realise that you're no longer in the hut, but rather crouching in tall grass in front of it. The stalker in old protective suit goes out of the hut and says:

- You're finally back! It seems that we've fallen into a strange anomaly! I guess it's a space-time anomaly, which can teleport you to random place around the Zone at a random time!

New anomaly has been discovered

Keep looking.  Any trees, alcoves, anything providing any semblance of cover just to make camp.

[2] Lorence nervously looks around, trying to find a good place to hide. He can't see any in this utter mess, and waits for Nix to decide whether they should try with another street or run for nearest hole in a wall.

[5] This time Nix observes the area more cautiously, and finds a few options. The city is overgrown with vegetation - most of the trees have too thin branches or trunks to hold up both of you, but in a two hundred metres or so you see a huge oak, towering above a nearby ruin. It seems that main wall with a small balcony and some stairs are still holding firmly, making an easy way to climb up the oak or camping spot.

[6] You drove onward silently, keeping your mouth shut while other mercenaries were mentally preparing for their mission. After a while you hear something strange, some king of hissing. You notice a dense green mist slowly pouring inside the trunk. This strange gas is melting everything in it's vicinity! Others try to block that gas, but it's slowly melting it's way inside!

[1] You hear drivers shouting.

- Shit! Acidic fields!

- I told you that military were right when they said it's going to last at least a week! Speed up!

[5] Trudging through the forests, you finally find a small dirt path. There are some fresh traces of tractor tires, and you think that you still can hear an engine running. This path must lead to village of some kind, so you follow it. After a curve you can see it in a distance, it's a bit poor and run-down place, but there are people wandering it. You see a tractor with trailer loaded with hay. There are also some old cars.

[6] Outpost of State Agency of Ukraine on Chernobyl Exclusion Zone is a two storey industrial building, repurposed for whatever shenanigans they did here. The first floor has no windows for some reason, and it looks like they were built over with bricks not long ago. You start barricading the entrance while others take their supplies.

[5 -3] There are a lot of furniture, just waiting for you to use them for barricade. Cabinets, lockers, desks, chairs or tables. Even some electrical junk. You're too tired to lift all of that, so it'll take you a while to build it alone. The swarm is still far away, but it's getting closer quickly.

You look at the sky and Sun, trying to tell what time it can be. It seems that evening is just about to come (1 turn) and night will fall in a few hours (3 turns).

[3] You look for a resting spot and find a nice place - an empty tree stump surrounded by tall grass, in a small recess. You lie down, checking if there aren't any dangers inside. Then you fall asleep, replenishing your strenght.

Evening, the Sun is setting down, some small clouds gathered on the sky. Cold wind is delightful after such hot day.

- Oh. I was getting scared.

- Let's enter the hut, it's time to give you your reward.

You follow the man inside his hut - it looks the same as in anomaly, though there are no skeletons lying around and the hut is not as aged. He opens a hatch in the ceiling and disappears in the darkness. You wait for him a short while and he gets back with a strange lump of coal. Fire seems to be raging inside it, but it doesn't hurt or burn down.

- I found this near a scorcher anomaly. I'm not sure how to name it and what it does, but it seems to be pretty rare.

- New artifact discovered -

Go to the Oak.

[2] They both split up. Lorence readied his hunting knife and wanted to go across the street, but there were some strange wandering corpses going out of nearby ruins, so he stopped, thinking about a better route to the oak.

[6] Searching for some wild animal to hunt, Nix notices a deer, tearing bark off the oak that he noticed earlier. However, the way is obstructed by walking corpses. It seems that Lorence has exactly the same problem as him. Luckily these corpses haven't scared off the deer.

[1, 4] You continue fixing the rowboat, but somehow it doesn't work out as planned. You damage it a little instead! Luckily there's Miriel to help you! She repaired damages you've made and fixed it up a little. It's still far from perfect and there are a few planks missing, but you feel that you're halfway there.

Upon entering the city you notice that it's one of the many abandoned villages around the Zone. Being out of anomaly and mutant ranges allowed people to live here on a daily basis. It seems that they moved here not long ago. The tractor driver notices you and stops, then leaves his machine and walks up to you.

[6] - Hey! Who're you!? Are you one of those damned stalkers hiding from military? You certainly look like one of them!

- I'm just passing by. Can you tell me where I am?

- I can tell you, but you'll have to go once I'm done! We're in Aliaksandraŭka, a not so abandoned village. Follow this road and you'll get to Братское, a slightly more populated village. Now, get lost or I'll make you few new holes with my pitchfork!

Colonel and drivers finally get all your equipment inside. You can hear horribe screams from the incoming swarm.

[3] They immediately tell you to rest and start barricading up the entrance. It's not standing as firmly as they wanted, but it should slow down the swarm considerably.

[4] You finally fall asleep, recovering your strenght and lost energy.

You restore all your fatigue and health.

[2] You take a closer look at the plate charged with electricity and at the dust, but you have no idea what properties they can have.

Make some noise to attract the walking dead, then dash off to other cover.  Hopefully that leaves a path clear to the deer.
