VANGUARD OF THE NEIGHBOUR'S BRIGADE:

Spoiler: Gou Ikari (click to show/hide)

Gender: Male/Cis

Description: Gou is the shortest member of the brigade, at 4'10. His looks and physique are such that, even listening to his rather light voice, one might be convinced that he is in fact a cute, auburn-haired girl. This makes it rather awkward when one considers Gou is also probably the liveliest person in the group (often trying to recruit people to the Neighbor's Brigade) and likes hugging people. Yes, even with one of his legs being badly deformed due to a fire, he still likes glomping people.

Disability: One of his legs is badly deformed and as a result, he must walk with a cane and hobble around. He is capable of moving without the cane, but very, very slowly.

Clubs: Light Music Club. He loves the keyboard. The drums play hell on his leg. He's also a big gamer.

Other: Childhood friends with four other students, who all formed up a club in childhood called the Neighbor's Brigade to bond over their respective disabilities after being bullied in school over them.

FULL NEIGHBOUR'S BRIGADE

Gender: Male/Cis

Description: Ryoji is fairly tall, standing at around six feet, but otherwise being pretty average in almost every other way, including appearance, grades and so forth; this allows him to essentially act as the balance between his rather odd friends. His only eccentricity is wrapping up tightly, especially around his left (artificial) arm and right (artificial) leg.

Disability: Lost his left arm and right leg in an accident.

Gender: Female/Cis

Description: Yukari is the second shortest member of the brigade, at 5'4''. She often loves dying her hair pink to model herself after a character she really identifies with from the video games she loves so much, and is somewhat plump due to her preferred activity of playing video games all day. She tends to be the quietest of the group, which doesn't help when she usually ends up falling asleep randomly due to narcolepsy. Otherwise, she's rather normal, if delightfully weird.

Disability: Narcolepsy.

Description: Ami is the middle of the group, at 5'6''. She has a rather athletic physique, especially around her hips, but would rather hide them under stockings due to her prostheses from the calf onward. She's the most easily exasperated member of the Brigade, often having to rein in the other two and be reined in herself by Ryoji in turn when she gets carried away. She does have a rather caring nature, just well hidden under.....other things.

Disability: Missing both legs, uses prosthetics to walk.

Name: Kaoru Sasaki

Gender: Male

Description: Kaoru is a cheery sixteen-year-old with an unusual combination of red hair and blue eyes from foreign ancestry on both sides of the family. Rather handsome, though sometimes confused for female due to his rather androgynous appearance. (In other words, he's a bishounen.) Quite intelligent as well, though somewhat unobservant and tactless at times, as well as rather lacking in patience (though the last couple years have improved this.) He usually wears a t-shirt+unbuttoned overshirt combo, with jeans or khakis, assuming he's not in uniform.

Disability: Missing his left arm and leg due to an accident about three years ago, with the amputation above the joint in each case, thus he's usually wheelchair-bound. He tries different prosthetics from time to time, but "they're usually more of a pain in the ass than they're worth."

Clubs: Physics and robotics, probably.

Other: Nothing I can think of at the moment.

Description:a young gal roughly 15 she lived a relatively normal life and was known to be highly energetic and active participating in as many sports as she could tennis,baseball,volleyball and basketball everything was going so well until very recently roughly 1 or 2 months ago she was diagnosed with arrhythmia after a devastating heart attack while playing a game of basketball during physical education and now she's being sent to this school and she may never get to do what she loves ever again.

Disability(ies) (yes it's required):arrhythmia not confident enough to pull of seizures.

Clubs:She wants to join the sports club

Other:Has headphones and a hoodie loves chocolate is bisexual as usual and...worryingly seemingly falling into a depression...school has been reccomended by her parents to try to help her adjust to her condition and try and get some very mild sport she could participate in or at the very least give her some kinda coaching or managerial position.

Appearance:

Stands 6'0".

Disability:Absence/petit-mal seizures that are unresponsive to treatment and occur frequently (2 seizures/5 minutes, almost.)  Consequently falls down quite often as she may 'stutter' midstep, but refuses to use a wheelchair.

Accomodations:Allowed to record all her classes; wears a camera on her hat/helmet that is synchronised to her phone.

Clubs:Book club.

Name: Colette Hummel

Gender: Female

Description: Colette is a quite slim, diminutive figure, almost unnaturally so. She has short, black hair that she keeps well combed enough to be unremarkable. She has blue eyes. Her usual outfit consts of a black jacket with a large yellow collar and cuffs, yellow rim, and shiny gilt buttons; a light yellow, featureless t-shirt; a black skirt and very thick woolen stockings, used to hide how frail her legs are.

Personality-wise, she can quite reasonably be described as a "doormat". Shy, rarely giving her opinion on matters, and talking quietly when she talks at all, she seems like an exemplary archetype. The exception to this, of course, is when someone manages to get her sufficiently worked up about things she's passionate about, and she can get passionate for quite a number of things. She is also very good at writing.

Disability: Muscular atrophy, affecting the legs. Uses a wheelchair to move around.

Clubs: Music

Other: A french-born immigrant, Collete Hummel is the daughter and youngest child of two very wealthy parents, her father being a CEO of a fairly large pastry company: Abvaille Sweets. Crippled from they day she was born, Colette has been given private lessons in writing (which she has been seen to be quite good at), music, and other general subjects for most of her life. Thus, she doesn't exactly know how to act when meeting strangers. It's only now, in highschool, after being sent to Japan (accompanied by a few caretakers, of course), that she's actually going to be learning things with other people.

Oh, also: somewhat odd hair colours are okay, so long as they're not utterly bizarre. Check out the game itself for examples: Hanako's hair is slightly purple but appears black, Shizune has blue hair (which also appears black). Rin just has outright red hair, Lilly and Emi have blonde and blonde-ish hair. Red and blonde are not natural Asian hair colours (Lilly being part-foreign is probably a decent justification), but they don't look especially bizarre.


TBF, if you're going to have bright blue hair, at least state that it's been dyed.
