Well, the proper course of action seems clear.  Ask our handler for a spy mission, I guess.  Didn't realize they were into that.
Recommending this.

Well, the proper course of action seems clear.  Ask our handler for a spy mission, I guess.  Didn't realize they were into that.

With that in mind, you take a moment off of your duties to ask your handler if she has any special duties for you, like the job about the seal.

Unfortunately, the answer is no.  It seems nothing urgent has come up this week, although she will try to keep you in mind if something special arrives.  After a bit more effort, she does acknowledge your capability with the seal mission, and promises to keep her eyes more open in the future.

And with that, the week ends.

As week 8, Min Li is expecting you to appear.

The weather this week is bright and sunny, as opposed to the wet last week, and not too hot.  It's a fine day for walking, and all kinds of outdoor activities.  Many of the important civil servants are taking this week to leave the city and attend to matters in their country estates.. likely vacationing and enjoying the beautiful weather out of the dirt and bustle of the city.  The less rich do not have the same options, sadly.

Your job is fairly straightforward this week, although your handler does not automatically approach you with more duties.  Dry weather makes it easy to deliver messages.

Training goes steady this week, and you make significant progress.  This week it's mostly extensions on what you've already learned, and building endurance and speed.  You feel that you will be ready for a formal examination with just a little more practice, and your trainers do nothing to dissuade you of the idea.

You have time for two actions this week.

Min Li expects us to appear?  Well, appear we shall!

...Maybe ask about another assignment for the second action?  Persistence is probably a good idea, but then again nagging is not.

I'll be going with this command if I can't get any more suggestions in by tomorrow.

Also, I have a lot more time, so updates should be coming with more regularity.

More rumor gathering. We need more points of data into so we can plot the graph properly.

You try to collect some information about the miners' revolt in Tiger province, as that seems like the most promising lead.

Fortunately, you have an easy time finding some potters and porcelain merchants, as that's a major trade good here, and quickly find out a number of things:

1.  The movement has no obvious central leader, although some names have been mentioned.
2.  The strike was triggered when a shipment of tainted food killed several miners and made many others sick.
3.  As of yet, the miners seem to be nonviolent and haven't killed anyone, but they're physically preventing work being done on site.
4.  Nobody knows exactly what's going to happen, but there's lots of speculation ranging from strikers being paid off to the army being called in to disperse the miners.

You don't know for sure if it's related to your dreams, but with this information it seems somewhat unlikely.  Still, this may very well be an opportunity.

One action remains.  Right now it looks like it'll be used to attend the meeting with Min Li.

Next up, you meet with Min Li, at her school.  As before you arrive, wait a moment, and are ushered into a small room.

This time, however, instead of a chair, you sit upon an engraved wooden disk.  Then an assistant of hers comes in and ties a bandanna around your mouth and nose.  She urges you to breathe calmly, and tightens the bandanna as much as she can while still allowing you some breath.  She then moves into a corner of the room, and watches you intently, head tilted down with a hand over her mouth.  A moment later, a second assistant comes in, and attaches four thin cloths of fine silk from hooks on the ceiling to eyes on the floor, near the edge of the disk.  That done, he leaves.

Next, Min Li's voice comes at you, through some hole in the walls.  She urges you to remain silent, close your eyes, and remain as calm as possible.

You do so, meditating and slowing your thoughts, narrowing the world to the space between your ears.  Drifting pleasantly, you are eventually roused by the first attendant removing your bandanna.  You think you can read approval in her eyes.

Min Li then greets you, and says that she has enough data to write up her paper on you, and thanks you again for your willingness to cooperate.

(+1 favor with Min Li).

..which also brings on the end of week 10.

This week, the weather continues nice, with a stiff wind off the ocean.  It's a good time for travel and traders, with the roads hardening and plenty of fresh wind for the river barges and ocean ships.  And in that vein, another great ship has arrived, this time a true warship, long and sleek, from Mzulft.  From your maps, you know that's the southernmost nation of the three across the sea.  You also know their ships are famed for speed and strength.

Work progresses more or less normally, as you run around the city.  The crowds, the buskers, the hawkers, the mix of people that make up your home.  Nothing out of the ordinary, but there are worse things to do for a living.

You continue to progress in your training, and early this week you take the test you were almost ready for.  You pass, and are now considered an advanced student, and allowed to train with personal weapons, although sparring is naturally done with blunted weapons.

There is time for two actions this week.

I also would like a name for some anime-style offensive sword move.

The Art of the Seven Shroud: First Shroud. From piecewice's generator.

I think one more rumor gathering trip is necessary before we can say where we need to go. Perhaps focus on more unusual rumors? Sailors probably have heard a lot, and with their fast ships their rumors are fresh.

I would say to check up on rumors from Mzulft, but I don't think it would be really relevent to our situation.
