Agree, plus that's about the LAST thing *I* want to see from this kind of game - author spending valuable development time on useless graphics.

Unofficial slogan of Bay 12 Games.

Following the pilot through the crowd turns out to be more difficult than expected. You are able to tail him but almost get separated several times as you follow him towards a less crowded check in station/docking area.

You find it strange that he picks a section of the ship that very few people are going towards, it seems to be about 3/4 to the front of the ship, not quite the front but not quite the middle either.

Getting into the same line as him you are only about three people behind him, there are several tables filled with supplies and check in staff getting everyone into the ship.

After repeating your name, registration number, scanning a piece of equipment embedded in your forearm, and picking items of your preferred design (such as leisure wear t-shirts) several times you get to the end up the line.

You are now carrying a small rucksack filled with quickly folded clothes and tags, they have given you a temporary emblem to put on your civilian clothes which you stick to the front of your unbuttoned shirt that you are wearing over a tank top. Now you are with the rest of the people who have finished the process, standing next to the pilot you were with earlier.

A guard with a holographic display shining from his helmet begins asking everyone what job they were assigned to and checking boxes on the screen. The screen seems to signify roles that need to be filled in different areas of this section of the ship.

He gets to you and the other pilot,"Assignment?". Both of you answer simultaneously,"Pilot, Sir". The guard responds,"We needed a few of those, you'll both be in section 2A *he checks two boxes on the screen*. So what are you, twins?". He chuckles to himself as he moves on to the others waiting for assignment, you notice him reject a few others, sending them to other sections of the ship and communicating through a headset for where to send them.

The other pilot looks up from the ground that he has been staring at,"So why have you followed me? I don't know who you are and you sure don't seem to know who I am. So why follow me this far?"

He waits for your response.

Nah, just say that we follow our gut instinct, and our gut told us that pilots on this journey should stick together.
