Nah, I'm going for those neutrals in 37 and 39. And there's not much invasion potential into HH from there. I'd be worried more about cript, seeing as he plans to backstab the alliance.

That is exactly what you would say if you where going to invade! Besides, one of you *has* to betray the others eventually, only three at most can win.

Actually since this is a test game only one person can win.

Edit: Or after 100 turns everyone/noone left wins

And really Taricus? You think. That's going to trick anyone at this late point. Everyone in the game (other then maybe Strik although probably him too) knows you've been planning on betraying us for a while. It's not a secret, and you're not going to trick anyone at this point by pretending anything else.

Actually, only one can win. Doesn't mean you have to conquer everyone though. Besides, I am being truthful about trying to take 37 and 39. Even if it is only taking them for a larger army limit.

Why not, 1-man standing is best way to ensure mayhem and tensions in cooperative strategy game :P

* Haspen only added allied victories on a whim...

...in fact I should get rid of them completely.

If you plan on running these rules in a real game maybe you should. Theocracy (probably elves) would be way too exploitable in an actual team based game. Swap provinces to allies for research and back for army limit. The weakness of Theocracy in this game has been that everyone knows that they are going to rush early because they can't keep the research up for the late game, we were making an alliance against Strik on turn zero. Give them the ability to win with anyone else and rip balance.

Well, too be fair it doesn't eradicate team play entirely, just ensures the alliance feeds all the territory to one player.

I duuunooo. I think you've done fine mechanically (well, a bit late on the army camps). Just missed out on the diplomacy, although that was pretty stacked against you from the start anyway because of your government.

I feel like there's too many Offense-oriented buffs, not enough defensive ones. But I might be overthinking it.

Some way to slow down gameplay so we can get into the meat of the research might be good though, yeah. Though, I was also looking at the province improvements, and Building Mastery seems like it would be more useful (which is to say, worth taking) if there were a few more possible province improvements. Not necessary, per se, just more interesting, maybe. *shrug* As it is, best use is to make sure a castle's up in the province you just grabbed. Humans seem like the pick for Research-focus, given Ingenuity and Mercantilism(though you'd think they'd be the mix), while Elves are of course the Magic-focus race, and Dwarves seem like they should be the Province-improvement race, or the mixed race(even though you'd expect them to be the Research race). Maybe something that gives them a bonus for each Rich province or having a high PI/turn?
+2 Bonus to attack, without any to defense, is a lot though, and it means theocracies have no choice but to be hyper-aggressive. Would be interesting if they had something like Isolationist, where they got/gave fewer bonuses from Trade Treaties as well as Research Treaties(and gave less RP for research treaties). Don't know if it's a good idea though.

Oh! And Stormcalling could maybe have an improved chance of success on Fleets? Just an idea.
