Hello lady's and gentlemen I've been thinking about running something like this for a while and I'd say I'm a fairly active person on this forum and I feel I can keep up a lot of this game will be freeform but there will be stats.These stats will mainly be used for combat between players and during a murder investigation and trial but I may roll if I find it to be nesscary during daily life.


Game Basics

The game will be divided into day and night phases if you wish to perform a action you may post it in the thread.
You get an ultimate talent this gives you 4 ability's.
Investigation ability: something that you can use during an investigation even if you're the murderer
Exploration: ability that can help you uncover the mystery of the location
Murder:skills you can activate during a murder whether you are attempting to murder or are defending yourself.
Trial:a ability that can give you crucial help during a trial
You get 10 points to put into stats I will be rolling 1d20 if those stats are being used
The stats:
Strength:how powerfull you are and how likely you are to kill with a melee weapon.
Perception:How good you are at noticing small details or patterns that other's may not and will give a bonus to searching for clues and examining evidence
Intelligence:Formulating plans,making traps and weapons and disposal of evidence,also good at making fake evidence and making snap decisions.
Luck:It's luck it will be rolled most during a murder phase with the potential victim's HP being luck for one blow can easily be fatal[ luck will be rolled to avoid death but at anytime you can roll your luck to stumble upon evidence or otherwise find things.
How murder works: The murderer will PM me with an action attempting to kill another player or an NPC.
-I will roll for if the player noticed you using their perception stat. It's a d20, and anything above or equal to a ten means they notice (translation: I will PM them and notify them of the murder attempt) and get to fight back or run.
-If they fight back, five rolls are done using their strength and luck stats.If three or more rolls are in their favour, the would-be victim escapes and the murderer is incapacitated for the whole phase. If the three rolls are in the murderer's favour, the murderer succeeds.
-If they run, five rolls are done , with three rolls in favour of the victim meaning a successful escape, and three rolls in favour of the murderer meaning a successful kill.
-If the kill is successful, there will be another roll for witnesses if there's anyone who could have plausibly saw you. They will roll their perception the higher the roll the higher the identification.saw you,
-If the kill is unsuccessful for any reason, the would-be victim may flee and basically rat the would-be killer out to everyone.

relationships:Do you have friend's and family? How does your character feel about them? Who or what is most precious to them.
Stats:you get 10 points you can take a stat to the negatives to boost other stats by the amount you tok out.

They do not have to be original there were multiple lucksters so I say it's fine to have multiples of any talent I fully expect a luckster.

Description: Gidayu is the ultimate carpenter,he is 18 years old currently,his mother died shortly after he was born and as such when he was young he lived with his father in a small rural town,he found out about his talent at the age of 8 where he helped with his fathers work on a nearby barn,his father seeing great potential taught him everything he knew and it wasn't long before the student surpassed the master,he quickly went on to working on all kinds of carpentry and ended up making his small rural backwoods town into a much more respectable sized town that is more then just a small speck on the map.

Gidayu is tied to a giant wooden beam and said beam is moved forward a few feet and is cut by a giant saw,when it reaches Gidayu it cuts the end of the beam he is tied to causing him to fall onto the pile of cut beams and each is taken by a giant monokuma and nailed to one of the many holes in the wall that fit the cut beams perfectly,when the beam Gidayu is tied to is taken the giant nail it put right over his stomach before it it hammered in impaling Gidayu and killing him.

Do the characters have to be Japanese? Or can they be "Ultimates" from other countries scouted by the school?
