Charlotte looked after Axel as he left, for a moment she thought of following after him but eventually decided against it. She didn't really want to be around crowds at the moment. Out of the corner of her eye though she spotted Caderyn, she headed over. She paused as she spotted the blood and the body but it only lasted a second,

The energy coursed through him and his veins, instilling within him a sense of abrupt bravery - and for a brief moment, a feeling of euphoria as something filled his spirit. He did not know what it was, only that it made him feel suddenly stronger and confident.
Then, the spirit spoke.

Where are you taking me?

It was jarring; he felt in tune with the spirit, who spoke with a dull, feminine voice; and he knew that it was the sword. Information flowed between them, subtle instincts and emotions that he had trouble grasping. He stood there until he actually snapped out of his trance.
