Axel was sleeping in his little corner of the truck. he wakes up when the truck hits the speedbump  "Ow what the hell!" Axel sits up and blinks a few times "where the f**k am I?"

One of the ones who was there when Kate and Charlotte were thrown in has her gag knocked loose, a dark-skinned girl with black hair to her shoulders, brown eyes, and notably a blackish ring of tattoo around her lips. Normally Dalanda would be plying her act, the let-them-think-I'm-just-some-dumb-quiet-African-girl ploy... but in this case, she was far, far too emotional to possibly do so. The girl was sobbing and now ranting in a language totally foreign to likely everyone in the truck, her native Fulani:

Raleigh closes his eyes, sighing as he focuses his returning consciousness, looking around to see if Emilia's in the van. When he realises she isn't, he sighs in relief, his head lying back on the side of the van.
"Thank god....."
"Good idea! I'm not staying, though. I'm not letting those foul evildoers take my brother away from me! I must assist you in returning your family and friends to you!"

Alric slowly moves over to give what small comfort he can to the distraught Dalanda.

"Sssh...Sssh...It'll be okay...Sssh...I have a plan..."

He makes placatory gestures.

"And those who toil and suffer in life will live forever in God's Kingdom. Amen." Ether closes the eyes of Nancy.

"Let me see your dog. Perhaps I can help him..."

"Yeah. Don't worry. Nothing bad's gonna happen to ya. We'll be fine."
Emilia heads over to Ether. She notices the body of Nancy.

A moment passes. She lets a small gasp out, before shaking her head. She knew Nancy, from her visits to the Farm, and she was sorry to see her gone.

However, the time to mourn was not now. Her brother was in danger, her friend's friends were in danger, people were in serious, definite, mortal danger.

And justice must have been done.
".......I must assist you now, I am honorbound. I'm sorry about what happened.

Can I help you?"

Dalanda's mind goes into something of a flurry as Alric shushes her. She could only see it as a condescending gesture, the sort of motion a parent makes to a distraught child, from an outsider no less. But her pulaaku demanded modesty, shame, hiding herself from outsiders... but... but with all that was going on, she can't find it in herself to care about her pulaaku! Not now! Not in an awful time like this!
She snaps something at Alric, this time in French. "Non! Arrete! Je-- Je ne suis pas un petit fille, non non non non non..."
