Elizabeth sighs, pulling out the pink envelope. The color she normally uses, and peels it open carefully. Within is obviously a letter, but something else as well, that Elizabeth carefully placed back within the envelope. She unfolds the letter, taking a deep breath, handing it over for him to read.
Dear the one Raleigh Leblanc,
I am pleased to inform your eyes, and mind that I will be arriving in your home port of New Orleans. I look forward to finally viewing your visage, and experiencing you for myself. I also look forward to seeing your beloved city, and young Emilia. I wish for us to go to one of these diners you keep talking about, and enjoying the sweetness of a root beer float with you. And while this marks the end of my travels around the world, I'm glad to be arriving to interact with familiar individuals. I am truly happy. However... my thoughts keep drifting to
There's a large black smudge, likely from some accident with the postal service, as it seems to be oil, and it covers up most of the rest of the letter, besides the very ending.
