Charlotte looked up from her hunched position as the scream stopped, for a moment she couldn't move. It was the same as last time. After a while though she rose to her feet, edging out from around the house to confirm what she already knew.

Kyle secretly trails around, towards the cars, as the armed men, he counts 20 in total, begin spreading out around the farm. One of the groups activates the weird contraption, and in the circle between the boxes, a sphere of energy begins to form, which pulses slowly at first, then faster and faster. People begin to feel...strange.

As the pipe impaled Nancy, a few miles away Ilya clutched her head in sudden pain. She certainly saw -and felt- what happened.

Frank slowly got up whimpering lightly running up to llya and Irene.

Kate reaches a vantage point where she can see Nancy, and upon discovering the woman's impalement, attempts to activate her transformation.

"Our father, who art in heaven, hollow be thy-" Ether promptly falls on her hands and knees and vomits on the ground.

Freydis is frozen in fear for a minute before crouching down back into her little spot shaking in fear now that mortality and magic has been clarified at the same time.

It does, or at least she hopes so, as people spot her quickly.

"There is one, beginning submission procedure!"

The agents begin firing upon her, with what appears to be small syringes. Kates natural dragon-like toughness however, lets them mostly bounce of harmless. Some leave small wounds, but they don't keep sticking.

Charlotte stared at the prone form of Nancy, feeling as if she was in a dream she began to move towards it.

With Kate drawing all attention so far, Charlotte makes it pretty far into the frontyard. Nancies voice is barely a whisper, but Charlotte can make out every word.

"What...are you doing...run.."

Say, would Tori be allowed to keep her pistols hidden on her person, or would they have to be in her room?

Kate is briefly wreathed in lighting, becoming completely invisible under the mass of energy before it dissipates in a minor shockwave (not enough to really do more than rattle the already-shattered windows a bit), and rushes at the nearest agent with inhuman speed, now covered in a suit of silvery-white magical armor with teal motifs and wielding a broadsword. She yells a wordless battle cry as she brings the blade down toward him.
