Name: Nikuz Zolak
Title: The Arcane Brewmaster
Appearance: No, he's not wearing robes. Just tattered peasant's clothing. And one artifact adamantine high boot. The dwarf's beard has been cut off, and will never regrow. Oh shame.
Race: As you might imagine... Dwarf.
Age: 32 years old. Scaled down to a human lifespan, he'd be a tad bit younger(18-24 perhaps? I'm not sure)
Magic: Biomancy-Hydromancy hybrid: Brewology, the magic of creating magical alcoholic beverages by manipulating the ingredients using Biomancy and creating the drink itself using Hydromancy. Nikuz is rather new to using this magic and isn't consistent with his results yet, hence he doesn't really have any "special/secret spells", per say.

Backstory/Origin: Nikuz was the dwarven king's personal brewmaster, in charge of providing the drinks for the king's parties and other social engagements... and personal consumption. He wasn't the best, but he was hardly the worst- the king didn't complain about Nikuz' drinks very often, after all. But one day, a rival appeared- Losush Kovest. And she was the bloody best brewer Nikuz ever saw in his life. Nikuz was far inferior to Losush. Understandably, the king preferred to have Losush as his brewer, rather than Nikuz. Nikuz didn't want to lose the perks and pay of being the king's brewmaster, so he proposed a game: Nikuz and Losush would both make their best drinks for the king's next party, and the king would keep the brewer who made the best drinks as his own, while sending the other away. The king, knowing Losush would most likely win, agreed.

Oh pride, oh folly.

Nikuz knew he was outmatched, but he stubbornly, pridefully, refused to give up. He worked himself into a frenzy. No- more than that. He worked himself into a strange mood. The next day, Nikuz and Losush delivered their works to the king. The party began. Losush's drinks were the first to be passed around, and as expected, they were masterful. The king was joyful... jubilant... happy. At that point, everybody knew who was going to be the winner, and trying Nikuz's drinks was only a courtesy. Still, the king was courteous. For a noble, anyway. So he ordered Nikuz's drinks passed around, and tried to enjoy them.

A few minutes later, the king(now a queen, actually) and the rest of his party guests, similarly but somewhat differently changed, stared at Nikuz with hatred in their eyes.

Nikuz realized what he had done. He was 99% overjoyed(strange mood success moodlet!) and 1% terrified.

Losush, exercising respect for a rival, if a prideful, arrogant, magical one, asked that Nikuz's life be spared. The queen agreed- but only so that Nikuz could suffer true LOSS.

Nikuz first had his beard cut off and the possibility of it growing back removed, courtesy of the queen's Conjuration. Then he was paraded in front of the population(all of it) for 3 days and nights, without food or alcoholic drinks. He was forced to live on WATER.
Then all of his possessions were stripped from him, and he was clothed in discarded migrant's clothing. And with that, he received an artifact adamantine high boot. As it turned out, the queen had had a strange mood of her own.

"2 years. That's all you have. I created this boot to make you SUFFER. Over the course of 2 years, it will leech your soul from your body. I never knew I knew Necromancy... At the end of that, you'll be barely alive. Barely. You'll barely be able to walk. And you will HURT. And a minute after those 2 years have passed, it will utilize your leeched soul energy and EXPLODE, taking with it you and everything around you in the radius of a small town."

"If you take it off... it will explode in a smaller explosion than the one that would have occurred if you had left it, but still large enough to kill you so thoroughly that the Silver Spring itself couldn't keep you alive. If your foot is cut off... it will explode. If it falls off accidentally... it will explode. If someone else takes it off... it will explode. If it comes off your foot, it will explode. If someone tampers with it without using my still beating heart as a reagent, it will explode. HAVE FUN. OR RATHER, DON'T."

A day later, Nikuz was beaten(twice), and sent out into the world. A week after that, he arrived at the Fiery Barrel Tavern&Inn.

And he was bloody hungry.

Eventual Goals: get free of the bloody boot without dying. Make the queen suffer, then die. Take the queen's place. Become a Legendary Brewer. Figure out how to utilize this strange hybrid magic.

Live a good life.

Name: Jenovak Restoth
Title: None
Appearance: Typical height for an elf. His skin is a dark gray, the same as his eyes. His platinum hair is tied in a ponytail. He has a scar coming from his left cheek down to his chin. His body is lined with tribal tattoos, coming from his stomach up to his midsection, and going down his arms.
Race: Drow elf.
Age: 212, equivalent to 20
Magic: Biomancy and Conjuration

Backstory/Origin: A creation of the King of the Drow emperor's affair with a peasant, Jenovak promised himself from a young age, since he couldn't inherit the empire, he would become the greatest mage in the empire. He was convinced that he would be able to become respected in other ways than being a holder of a title. His relationship with his father was strained, but he was liked well enough to get a magic instructor. He learned conjuration and biomancy, hoping to master them and learn even more. He had an easier life than most, and he was prepared to join the military.

During one of Jenovak's visits, the duke of Realen, an influential noble, came to speak with the king. He wanted to create a treaty he said would benefit the empire, though he was late to state what it was. Assassins swarmed the castle, killing many. The guards fought valiantly, but where unable to hold off the attackers. Jenovak moved in a rush, before seeing his father being attacked by the duke himself. Jenovak turned to charge the man, but was too late as he was pulled away by a guard that was later killed as well. In the end of the attack, all who were in line to inherit, and Jenovak himself was believed to be dead. The duke of Realen twisted the situation to appear as if he was the hero who saved lives. He quickly took power over the empire.

It didn't take long for the duke, now known as the grand count, to begin to lose control. Although he had supporters and wealth, he failed to realize the full scope of his actions. Loyalty was lost from some of the empire, and others had land taken by other nations. Land above ground was lost, leaving the drow holding little territory anywhere but underground. They were no more than a few citites, and Jenovak felt it was his destiny to take it back. But he would need supporters, money, warriors, and a mastery of magic.
Eventual Goal: Become a great scholar and mage. Take control of the kingdom from the Grand Count. Reform the Empire that was destroyed. Build a wall to keep the high elves out.

Name:Eilore Frysphian
Title: sometimes he tells people he is just a lost man wandering the world in search of himself.
Appearance:If you didn't know better you'd think him just a common traveler. He wears worn out traveling clothes an old patched cloak. his face could be considered handsome but signs of his age do show; slight wrinkles can be seen on his face and streaks of gray run through his braided blond hair and scruffy beard.     
Race:human
Age:43
Magic:conjuration he has become adept at spells to pacify enemies without killing them but that doesn't mean he's any worse at killing someone if he has to.
Backstory:He once was considered a prodigy, becoming the most powerful wizard in his home kingdom by the age of eighteen.when the king heard of his talents he took him in at a young age and treated like a son, grooming him to become the eventual Master of Wizardry. These two things gave Eilore a big head, he spent his youth flaunting his wealth always sneaking out at night drinking, brawling, and getting into trouble. One day an old man came to the kingdom to seek the position of Master of Wizardry as the old Master recently passed away. The king was going to give this man the position when Eilore became furious that he was not being given the position. The two mens arguments quickly became a duel, and after a long and difficult fight Eilore won and the crumpled old man slunk away beaten and broken. But his absence was not long for he returned a fortnight later and killed Eilore's newlywed wife after Eilore tracked him down and destroyed him he exiled himself from the kingdom thinking it his arrogance that killed his beloved. He was twenty three then and he has spent the time since wandering to all four corners of the world looking for someone he never knew.         
Eventual Goal:come to solace.
Positive Traits:worldly wise, talented with magic, even temper (now).
Negative Traits:can't accept himself, never stays in one place for too long, Helluva drinking problem

Everybody, I managed to secure a regular source of internet access so you guys can expect weekly updates at the least. I tallied up the votes and Eilore Frysphian is going to be our Protagonist! Vote on a starting location, please don't change your mind or make negative votes, it makes tallying difficult.

Location One: You are walking down an idyllic Forest Path miles away from the nearest Town, the surroundings are calm, although you could've sworn you heard a twig snap just behind you ...
