I call dibs on the butcher's shop section.  I love making garbage chutes.  Maybe produce some zombie-bacon.

You know what?  Sign me up for a turn and dorf-ness.

Nothing to celebrate my return to DF better than to sign up for a Battlefailed successor, right?

It would seem our first two players in line weren't up to the task, so I'll just toss the first year up for grabs. I'll play it if I have to, but I'd rather it be someone who doesn't know what to expect. I've had a lot of practice doing all that science with the embark, you see. Any volunteers?

I'm free of succession games right now. I'll volunteer and have the weekend to play.

edit: Ooh, this is going to be fun.  Has the site been selected with the first seven yet?
I'd like to take on that aquifer, a nice indoor zombie infested well would be such a treat.

Requesting dorfing. I think I had a dwarf in the *failed series at some point deep in history.

Name: Balnash
Job: Brewer/Speardwarf
Militia Theory: "Keep 'em at the end of your spear, an' they can't get at ye."

An if they ge' ye, jump on yet spear, takes their fun out of it.

I'm confused.  Doomhold is a different fort than Bloodyhells?  Or was there a name change and Spish started a new post with the new intro?
I'm almost done with that one Bloodyhells.

Doomhold didn't work out because we had no surviving civilization to work with. Hence, no migrants, which would not have been very fun (I've been there before).  So I took over the generation since Imic and Ryukan were too busy, and after a bit of extra planning and science we ended up with Bloodyhells.
