Duct Tape is my favorite item in this game, hands down. It either makes things hilarious, deadly, or both.

Seriously. Even two low tier guns strapped together can make a really nice weapon. I once strapped a Flare Gun to the Sawed-Off and got a flaming shotgun. That thing was pretty damn good for quite a few floors.

The Fossilized Gun actually spits fire when you reload it, so you can ignite the fuel trail on the floor next to you.

I know, but I was thinking of a proper flamethrower that sets it on fire right away :D

Ah. Maybe a pairing with Demon Head, then? :)

Banana is pretty good. Wouldn't mind duct taping something to that, given a chance.

Huh, in addition to regular bullet kin and red shotgun kin, did you know that sniper bullets will also ride in mine carts, given the chance?

Over 100 games, and this is literally the first time it's ever come up.

... what I didn't know was that the behavior was a actually limited to those three. Thought all the bullet-kin style enemies could, given a chance. Wiki definitely suggests it is, though.

I just realized, the trigger twins are Smiley and Shade, for the same one as Smiley's Revolver and Shade's Revolver

Yup. Took me a bit to realize that at first, too.

*sigh* I seem to have hit some sort of skill dip. I was getting down to level 5 routinely, and something changed and now I tend to die on level 4. No idea why, other than my ability to dodge seems to have vanished. I'm taking a lot of unnecessary hits lately.

Same with me. It's not affecting my runs so much as it's affecting my sanity. :P
I seem to have just gotten complacent. I finally got to where I am getting to the characters' pasts, and maybe whatever algorithm it is that adds things to the Gungeon as you progress (ever notice how you never see particular room layouts or out-of-depth monsters until you've been on the level or beaten the game a couple of times?) has made some adjustments that have started catching up with my muscle memory. I'm just not dodging as well as I used to, potentially because the game keeps getting fractionally harder while I have plateaued.

The skill dip is likely your concentration as you started to either become bored or used to the game.

Mild revival, got back into playing this. Managed to get both the Ring of Miserly Protection and the Mustache for the first times and in the same run. The game is probably telling me to go to sleep.
