also, I may or may not have splurged on 60s-style spy movies, buuut, who is fine with setting the new rotmg in the 60s?

I mean the cold-war era, political unrest about equality, spiced up with magic and the supernatural? Facing magical supervillainy, all in the threat of nuclear armageddon, rampant non-humans, and rampant lesbianism in a time where either was a huge taboo, peaceful protests escalating horribly, secret agencies, and the usual rotmg-style super high-tech now with the charm of them looking like secret super spy gadgets?

well, I will leave it optional, but I think it might be fun. Then again, my basic plot can probably work in any time period, so oh well, whatever

Aren't the 60s well before magic became normal in RotMG? Or are we going to mix things up and do some recons here and there? Or are we going to have to bumble around with keeping the Masquerade? I'm fine with any of these options, I'd just like some clarification on what is happening.

how did you integrate that mechanism?

More or less, have the character's soundtrack play when they're either landing the final blow on an opponent or when they're doing something particularly awesome.

A character has a perk to gain bonuses from music too. Honestly it's not a major nor critical part of the game by any means.

also, that may be a rule mechanism I still have to add, something many systems have. Fatepoints. Basicaly a spotlight on demand. Characters can call upon it...once, and then have to slowly earn it back I guess. When activated, they shall take the spotlight in the ongoing events, and become much more awesome for that time. But that really, really depends on wether people want that stuff.
