Here's my character, finally

Name: Axel nightingale
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Race: Caucasian, Human

Description:Black hair with a gray streak (Dyed),blue eyes, Height: 6 feet tall. Body type: average. Axel wears mostly blue and gray pants/shirts with combat boots

Backstory: Axel lived a fair life, he got good grades, he had excellent participation in classes. but that all ended when WW3 broke out. Axel was drafted at age 15 and he trained until he was 17. Axel Discovered magic during a small skirmish with an opposing nation. his squad was under fire and out numbered, his commanding officer was shot. Axel's commanding officer was a goner. with their dying breath Axels officer handed him a necklace. however that necklace wasn't ordinary piece of jewelry, the necklace was a sort of catalyst for time magic. Axel being his emotional self tried to fix his time line by traveling back to prevent WW3. after a ton of focusing and almost getting shot he teleported to the 60s.

Clarification on why WW3 started: The masquerade was broken in his time line, the non magic people weren't so accepting of these magicians. Axel traveled back to a point where it could be broken

Does this take place in the 60s before the events of canon RotMG 1/2/3? Because if so, Axel's story makes no sense.

In RotMG, the Masquerade was broken and the protagonists were pretty famous world-renown heroes, with no real chance of a potential magical backlash.

actually this is one of the reasons that "dude from the future" doesn't sit well with me; it's all well and good when you have one author who knows exactly what happens in any number of timelines, but in an RP where the characters are all acting on it and pulling it in different directions?
