It's not the time travel specifically (though coming from the future presents myriad issues), more of how it interacts with the character as a whole. Overall the profile seems to be an effort to "be the main character."

It's just so...
"Hey WW3 apocalypse and then suddenly TIME TRAVEL FOR NO REAL REASON!!!!"

It doesn't really fit.

Like, the time-travel in Homestuck makes some sense.  This is just "Oh look shiny MacGuffin that somehow I can use to prevent TEH APOCALYPZ."
