Boop.Backstory: Ether lived a mundane middle class life in Southern Nigeria until the age of 6 when the Civil War kicked off, beginning an era of bloodshed on a scale never experienced before in the country's history. One night, Anti-Yoruba forces shelled Ether's village mercilessly, killing off her entire family, and most of the inhabitants. Days later, nuns from a nearby mission took in Ether and any other survivors in the region. At this mission, the orphaned children were allowed to stay as the Sisters organized an improvised orphanage to care for these children, with the nuns now acting as both guardians and educators. The exposure and influence of the nuns changed Ether's life from a girl who went to Church every Sunday, to a zealot devoting her entire life to God, even planning to becoming a nun herself in the far future.
As the years went on and the war wracked the nation, the amount of orphans being taken in by the mission surged to the point where it no longer had the resources to care for all of them. Thus, the nuns decided that the older children were to be sent to homes and institutions that could provide for them, and the destination of each child would be based on their own individual needs. when Ether was 14, the nuns informed her of a special orphanage deep in the belly of the United States...
Personality: As a result of both experiencing the horrors of war firsthand and an authoritarian upbringing under the nuns, Ether is a serious person who has little time for trivialities and rarely expresses her emotions openly. She is almost never idle, as she believes that there is always work to be done in God's name. When she isn't engaged in a physical activity like construction or gardening, she can often be found studying the Bible or other Christian works, or listening to religious music.
As her title would suggest, Ether does not refrain from judging others. However, her judgement does not place conventional blame on the individual, as she believes that the good and bad actions of any individual come from the presence of either divine or demonic influence to their soul, respectively.
Although Ether is extremely fervent in her beliefs, she does not insist on spreading her message verbally, preferring for her actions to teach those around her about the glory of God. She is willing to discuss her beliefs with others should they bring it up.
Ether's political and ethical views are based on her religious beliefs. For example, she does not agree with Capitalism for its Greediness and Egotism, nor is she allied with Communism for its Atheist qualities.
7 Virtue & Sins:An important aspect of Ether's beliefs are the 7 Virtues & Sins, which manifest themselves inside everyone and are the result of the perpetual internal battle in a being's soul as God and Satan vie for influence. Ether says that everyone, regardless of who they are or what they have done, is strongly characterized by at least one sin and one virtue; the lack of Sins would be an indication of God, the lack of Virtues can only be Satan, and the lack of either indicates an absence of a soul. They have been modified since the creation of the original 7 Sins and Virtues, and are as follows:

Greed - Charity
Humility - Ego
Sympathy - Hatred
Production - Lethargy
Temperance - Gratification
Devotion - Apathy
Ability:Blessing of the Lord - Ether's ability can not be instantaneously activated and first require prayer which requests what kind of aid she wants. If she is answered, the blessing can take the form of many things from
transformation into a more powerful paladin form to the summoning of angels. These angels aren't cute churubs or dudes playing the harp, we're talking about
the kinds of angels that are described straight from the bible. A Blessing can also be used as a last ditch life-saving/cripple-reverting heal, but like any other Blessing it is not always delivered.
Divine Judgement - At the end of a bout, Ether makes a judgement that decides the fate of her opponent. If battle has resulted in them being purged of their evil qualities, she spares them of anything further. If great evil still resonates deep within them still, Ether will put them in a state of Repentance, where they will undergo a punishment related to their Sin. (For example, a person overtaken with Greed might lose the ability to see money or understand monetary transaction.) Repentance would be ongoing until the Sin is minimized. In the most extreme cases, Ether will see the person as too corrupted by Satanic forces, and nearing the status of an actual demon. In this scenario, there is nothing that can be done and attention must be turned to banishing the demon itself via the destruction of the vessel, i.e the physical person. A single no-frills white energy-beam-type attack accomplishes this, causing complete obliteration.
