Sounds cool.

I think I'm joining the group asking for more specifics on the setting, though, so we can have some starting character relationships.

I am fine with having starting relations with other characters.

I don't disagree with Spotlight points, as I trust you as the GM to still have ultimate approval/veto powers since it is based in subjectivity, thus preventing the players from forming a mob rule where anytime a character does anything ever we can all go, "OH YEAH THEY DID A THING SPOTLIGHT POINT SPOTLIGHT POINT WOO WOO". I hope it doesn't come to that with the players either.

A couple of the characters will start at "the farm", which, literaly, is a farm outside of new orleans that grows soy beans and marijuhana (secretly), run by Nancy Gremillion. An elder black woman with a big fat stomach and a big fat heart. She has raised, in total, almost 50 foster kids there, and is by now sort of a child-raising elder master, flowing with wisdom and love like a waterfall. She has turned even the worst cases into responsible adults so far.


It is however uncertain where she gets the money to do so, or how currently all of the children and teens on the farm have something special in common:P

This setting is quickly becoming one my favorite ever. I hope that every character ends up casually using some Cajun/French slang in their vernacular and we can celebrate all of our heroic victories over a big ass pot of gumbo.

Oh, can Kyle get a perk that gives him more strength the eviler his enemies are? Or a perk that increases his strength in proportion to the damage that an ally (who is chosen before the combat) has taken.
