Untill they pass by, untill they come in range, untill the other ships can see the mining station?

until they come in range. I kinda meant the only thing to do was wait for it to initiate at this point, since it's the corvettes' show now

How about this

1) Wait one hour
2) Corvette #1 Launch missiles at the small vessel. Use as many missiles as neccesarry
3) Active sensor stations
4) Three corvettes unload half of their missiles at the largest mining station
6) One corvette unload all missiles at the second largest station
6) One corvette unload half of its missiles at the third largest station
7) Leave smallest station alone
Corvettes retreat to hide

The stations are kind of not in the same place. They're spread through the belt, and the ships are heading to the nearest one.
