(Ninjaed*2)
There is this relatively blackish Fungus inside my window and I'm getting worried that it's setting off allergies and ruining my day it just showed up a few months ago near Christmas but i think it's finally messing with me now....since I am at school I do not have a picture right now.
Visible fungus is (generally) the fruiting body of the fungus system that is hidden away inside the thing it is 'growing on', in this case what I assume is the wooden window-frame/sill, if not the wall of the building itself.
It's entirely possible that the spores the visible fungus is letting off might be causing you problems. Or it could just be that you're suffering from the conditions under which a fungus
is growing in your window/window-frame/wall/house. Or you're just suffering from something else less visible.
Aside from going off to someone local for expert medical advice (for yourself) or construction advice (for whatever 'rot' might be in your house), I suspect a photo of what you have might well be useful for any actual armchair mycologists (I'm not one) around here to give at least a tentative ID and suggest at least partially how much/little of a problem your 'growth' might be.
(It could be a psychosomatic fungus! Then your only hope is to get a prescription of strong placebos!)
