Ever since the destruction of the DUP, things have only gotten worse for conduits. Because of the actions of conduits causing too much civilian damage and government propaganda, public opinion about them has only gotten worse. With the DUP removed, the military took control of their facilities and supplies. With Curdun Cay destroyed, facilities for containing conduits were set up all over the country. In the city of Houston, we're all bein' brought to be held indefinitely. Still, the outside isn't much better. An anti-Conduit group with military level gear hunts conduits and kills them through force and numbers. Gangs are generally neutral towards conduits, but pressure them to join and are dangerous prospects for those who refuse them. Still, there are some supporters. Oppressed conduits-turned-vigilantes have start to form their own group. Even then, there's a more radical group of conduit terrorists who kill and show their power to prove that they are just as good as humans. Another group that exists is a cult of worshippers. They see their goddess, 'Eris', as the creator of the Earth and all life. They believe that Conduits are sent as angels for Eris. If you ask me, they're all crazy."
"Do you ever shut up?" questioned one of the soldiers on the bus. "Ey, man, I got rights, too!" Exposition text man would yell. You would all sit on the dark bus. Bulletproof windows, plating. Every conduit chained so they couldn't attack. Soldiers everywhere. And for some reason, you couldn't use your powers. Still, at least you could take.
