Decided to start a poll about it. Do you guys want intermissions, with both backstories and the events after a Chapter?

Yes. Backstories about our characters, which may answer questions? Seeing the world after the destructive chapters? Yes, please!

Nah. We should just start Chapter 2/3/5/291, and put background info in the Chapter itself.

Why ask, Greatness? It's your game, if you want this sort of thing, just do it already.

One last shot as Dolosus, then urge my horse to get away from these two.

"Right boy, good work. Go on!"

(I have no idea how to talk to horses. As to the german, I was kind of hoping someone else would, but I'll have a look soon.)

PirateJoe apparently did, but if you want to do it yourself, go ahead!

Also, hindsight has told me that I should probably stop asking about everything.

Beirus approaches to within shouting distance of the figure before shouting."Are you Legion? Or Jericho? Or another pawn of the Operator? Or the other one with a phylactery?"

Time for conversation. Defend self with Aether Manipulation, Alchemy, and the ProtoStone if necessary.

Attempt to wake up. If I do so, attempt to use pain as a means of dxetermination again. Have Paulie shoot at Person as he flees and then drag me to safety.

A successful roll.

To be less of a snarky git, what I mean is a roll that is around 6 or higher, with the specific number being how much strength you get. 5 would only be half as effective, and 4 and lower would fail.

Chapter Three: The Test Subjects
Match One: Deathmatch
Round Three: Fire
Tsuyama Railroad Educational Museum, Tsuyama, Okayama Prefecture, Japan
Early Morning, Cloudy, 7/20/2016

Fire. It burns, yet provides light and warmth. Good and bad. Unfortunately for Digital Demon, the only thing he can think about as he grits his teeth and tries to keep from screaming is how much the flame burns as it tears it's way through his leg. Looking down as the fire crackles into embers as it's heat tears apart his pants and skin, causing violent pain to shoot through his body, he also looks down at his hands to see two large gauntlets attached to his hands, apparently surviving the attack by Hawk earlier. He immediately tries to extinguish the flames [3] Demon wraps his hands around his leg, and it almost works, yet as the pain softens a bit, he releases the hold to find fire still around, and he remains in pain. As he grits his teeth, he becomes thankful when he realized he may have starved the fire enough to keep it at bay for another attempt. At the moment, however, he merely curses his seemingly cursed luck as he continues to cringe in pain as he looks out to see the cracks in the Earth and ruined buildings and cars, ruins in a previously bright land providing a somber mood...

After meeting the Party Escort Bot, and being surprised into a mere "what" due to it's appearance, BiggerFish thought over it's request to assume some sort of position, before remembering the game's ending. "Heh. was the first thing out of BiggerFish's mouth, her bemusement and amusement at the situation clear as day as she then lays down on her back and spreads her arms out to her sides, waiting for the bot to take her away somewhere. As the hard asphalt provides a small amount of pain, a pair of mechanical grabbers wrap around her arms as the android says, "Thank you for assuming the party escort submission position." in a mechanized voice, before slowly dragging her off in what seems like steps, giving the illusion of feet, to which Fish asks, "I thought you had feet.". The Party Escort Bot responds with, "Note: Body Weight and Proportions can affect the performance of the Aperture Science Party Escort Bot.". Fish merely rolls her eyes before looking around to see how much progress was made. [5] She looks down to find she's out of the Parking Lot, the Bot moving quite fast despite the "setback", but she also finds that she's not anywhere close to leaving to the Tsuyama Line anytime soon. She merely leans her head back, thinking as to recent events, and summing them up. "So, I became a superpowered Wiki-Warrior, met Abigail, died, came back somehow, shot Vader in the face, got the Machine, and am now a Female Brit being dragged out of harm's way by an Android from Portal. How long has it been since this all started?", she thought, as her evacuation continued.

As weight crushes bone and gasps of pain leave PirateJoe, he scrambles to try to find a way out of his current situation of the chunk of meteor currently pressing into his leg seemingly getting heavier with time, symbolic of a ticking time bomb to when Joe's bones reach a breaking point and everything snaps. Suddenly, an idea pops into his head, blue chills working their way down his fingers as he thinks. [8+2] Without much warning, Joe presses his hand to the meteor, and within seconds, the meteor turns to blue ice and crumbles instantly. At that, Joe feels his leg with his left hand, checking for broken bones to see how bad the damage was. [3-2(Pinned Limb)] The minute he touches his leg, he feels broken and crumbling bone, to which he looks down to see bone upon bone snapped out of his skin, sticking out of his now bleeding flesh like internal shrapnel as the dark red blood hits the ground. Joe then tries to at least splint it, [10+2] and uses his Ice Magic to not just splint it, but he also uses the Ice Magic to dull his senses before pushing each and every bone back into his body. His leg is still messed up, but as the frigid splint wraps around, he finds it surprisingly easy to walk around, though noting that if he wants to walk around without it, he needs to mend the shattered bones...

As tires touch asphalt and the engine purrs and growls in activity, NRDL and the Colmillo look around, the lone human leering at the entrance to the museum before cranking the car in reverse. The wheels spin as the car matches their movement, twisting the headlights to look at the museum before turning it to go forward. NRDL, pleased with the angle, then smacks his right foot into the gas pedal, causing the Ford Expedition to speed up, accelerating straight for the museum [7], slamming through a weak part of the wall [Condition Check: 8] with only scratching on the hood and sides, as it races towards [Targets: 1, Person] the horse riding Wiki-Warrior, who turns his head away from Dolosus enough to see a white Ford Expedition race towards his hanging body. [10 v 7-2(Situation)] The car smacks into the horse named Rock of Gibraltar, the whinny of the horse turning to a broken cry as most of the bones on it's right side break and snap, causing the horse to begin to fall over. What's extra unfortunate about the situation, however, is Person, to which the impact sends him flying away from Rock, [Wellness Check: 3-2(Injuries)-2(Smacked by a Car)] propelling him into a nearby train engine. The impact of metal upon spine breaks the vertebrae, the impact smashing the bleeding wounds of the Tommy Gun onto a newly stained ground, the crimson liquid making it's mark on the stone ground. The corpse, or at least paralyzed and comatose body, of Person then smacks against the floor, unmoving except for the postmortem twitches representing what could have been...
NRDL smashed into Person! NRDL gets:
http://rwby.wikia.com/wiki/Coco%27s_Handbag: +Coco's Handbag (Handbag/Minigun 2,500/2,500, 2 Belts of Reserve Ammo)

As for NRDL himself, [3] the impact smashes the hood and causes the car to spin out of control [10], but then not only stops, but actually parks behind cover, leaving the occupants behind a sturdy wall. [Wellness Check: 2 (NRDL), 6 (Colmillo)] The Colmillo are healthy save for some scratching from the broken glass, and one even licks NRDL...who happens to be unconscious, with blood coming out of his nose and glass becoming shrapnel as it digs into his chest and his left arm, which was broken by the impact. While NRDL is certainly safe, he's still badly injured.

[2] Darkness. It blankets our vision and leaves us in a haze as we look around to see everything except the outside world. All Dolosus Doleus can see, at least at the moment, is that darkness. [1] [Wellness Check: 10-2] Out of the abyss's confines, however, he hears the familiar noises of what sounds like someone expelling the contents of their stomach, groaning in pain before the noises stop. Judging by whatever noise comes out after, they may pull through the sickness yet.

((Auto'd)) Elephant Parade, quick and nimble as ever, tries to avoid detection from her enemies. [8] She hides from sight on the roof, the numerous distractions aiding her as she hides.

Seeing a figure in the distance normally wouldn't be a problem. It might be a friend, or a stranger, and even if it is an enemy, they're quite far. Beirus would be comforted by that knowledge, except, well...first of all, there's no one on Earth, and second, he's being hunted down by beings outside the realms of reality. Beirus muses on this, before calling out to the figure. "Are you Legion? Or Jericho? Or another pawn of the Operator? Or the other one with a phylactery?", he asks, calling out to the figure. [Auto-Selection] The figure doesn't respond, but as Beirus blinks, the figure is suddenly close enough to be readily identified: it's the cloaked figure from Jess's Office. Wearing what appears to be ancient, black clothing made up of a combination of leather and cloth scrounged together and stitched, he's wearing above that a white cloak that covers up most of his skin, save for his hands and face, though the latter isn't readily visible. His hands are covered in red scales, with several spots showing scales torn off, revealing crimson skin with black, inky and dried blood covering scars present on his hands. Though Beirus can't see the figure's face, he assumes it to be similar. Beirus blinks again, only for the figure to be right in front of him. Though not close enough to be right in Beirus's face, he predicts that the figure may try that anyway. The Figure finally speaks, his voice bone chillingly raspy and deep as he speaks, "I am no slave. I am not the revived one. I am not One. We are Legion, the evil of man.". Though he's speaking, he's not looking up to Beirus, almost as if what he said was merely an answer, nothing more. Despite this, Beirus still backs up at this, the being in his presence being a demon who, for all he knows, could kill him where he stands...

BSN: Uh oh...there's trouble now!

First: I would ask if you want to waitlist, Person, but honestly, you would tell me if you want to or not, so let's keep going.

Second: This turn took a while for one reason: I've been sick. And since I was sick, I didn't really have the drive to finish the turn. I do now, though, so let's go...to the sheets!

"F***ing hell."

Attempt to extinguish the fire with the gauntlets AGAIN, and then grab the amp (with gauntlets) and head towards a safe place with a medkit to remove the shrapnel.

I'll have to fully heal that later... I thought to myself as i leaned against a nearby wall, and looked around for the nearest opponent, once spotting someone I cracked my knuckles and grinned. "Ice Sign, Icicle Fall" I said as I shot out bullet hell similar to one of the spell cards of a particular ice fairy...

Man those rolls. Then again, car vs horse is not exactly in the horse's favor. Then again, there's a reason large mammals are so deadly to drivers. Just ask NRDL that.

Anyway, that seemed about fair when it comes to penalties/damage. Rolling negative numbers is not conducive to survival. :P If only I was riding on a moose or something, eh? Still, such is life. To the waitlist!

I doubt I'd have gotten all that far against Beirus anyway. This was meant to be a boss fight right? Or did Hawk just turn it into one by attacking Beirus. Like, do we need to beat Beirus to win or was he just here to watch like last round.

Nope, this is not a boss fight. Beirus is a competitor, same as the rest. Still, he is the most powerful, so you could look at it as a boss battle, but the round is just a standard deathmatch.

"Does this count as a desert? Because I'm pretty sure you've approached someone in a desert before. You even got mentioned in a really popular book because of it. So, what do you want?"

See what the demons want. If necessary to defend myself, use Aether Manipulation, Alchemy, and my ProtoStone to remotely destroy his phylactery.
