Week Zero

You are Ka'Vizaxhell, Lord of Faustian Deals, Supreme Overlord of the Fifteen Hells of Azkethoth, Dealbreaker and Maker, and Lastly but not Leastly, Absolute Master of Desires Now that your extremely long and somewhat cumbersome title is out of the way, here we go...

Welcome to the Mortal World of Arret, more specifically on the continent of Asirema in the Southern Hemisphere. If we were to be even more specific I would welcome you to Ikom, a small, isolated coastal fishing Town numbering roughly 2,000 Souls. Ikom is part of the Asiremite Republic, a relatively small Confederation of States and Towns.  Asirema is mostly desert but there is fertile land along rivers, the Asiremite Republic is one out of several Nations on the Continent, and the Nation has contributed very little to either side in the Great War. In theory the Asiremite Republic is part of the Needle-Hook Alliance, however. Oh yes, the Great War, let me explain.

You see, or know innately, most of the Mortal Nations got into a Global War over the assassination of several Politicians. They have more than enough Land and Resources for everyone of them if they only got along but the Mortals always seem to find a reason to kill each other. You just love Mortals. There are Two Factions in the Great War, The Needle-Hook Alliance and The Hardened-Bronze Federation, the Hardened-Bronze Federation is supposedly winning, if only because they have more Territory. In actuality the Two are equally matched and the Great War might drag out for decades in a long bloody stalemate. Or maybe one Side will press the Big Red Button and condemn all of Arret to a Fiery Nuclear Holocaust.

Arret is 1.5 times the size of Earth and is home to over 13 Billion Mortals. There are Hundreds of Nations and Religions, and there are Thousands of Languages, being a Demon Pactmaster you know them all Flawlessly. Arret has 21st Century-level Technology, although Military Tactics haven't evolved much beyond that of WW1.

You currently have 7 Followers, meeting in the Basement of one of them. Doesn't matter which, you can never keep Mortal names straight, it's one of the reasons you use Contracts for Deals. You currently have 10 Power, a mere pittance, barely enough to give someone mild nightmares, you are gaining only 4 Power a week, if you want more Power you'll have to do something Evil, or Destructive, or something. You'll figure it out. You would have much more but you had to expend most of your Power to frighten them into Following You.

You are only able to communicate to one of your Followers, William Oppenheimer, he's 78 years old and is almost completely blind. He's the only Follower able to see your true form and communicate with you. William was once the Mayor of Ikom but then one of his Political Rivals, Franklin Herpit exposed William's horrifying secrets to the Public, ruining his life. William wants nothing more than complete and total Revenge against Franklin, to the point that he sold his Eternal Soul to You in exchange for your solemn Oath that you will destroy Franklin's Life in William's Lifetime. William has terminal lung cancer and will be dead in two months, this is a Problem, as you can imagine.

The other Followers are just several Townspeople still loyal to William, and they're afraid that You will consume their Souls if they don't follow you. They have very little Negative Emotion, apart from some Fear of you. One of Your Followers is the Jonathon Oppenheimer, he's the son of Franklin's Brother-In-Law, he owns a small fishing shop, Your Followers are currently in his shop's Basement.

Note, You can break most Deals if needed, but it will cost you twice the Power it took to make the Deal, right now that would be Fatal for You, as You spent 15 Power to make the Deal with William.

Week One

Upon contemplating the best way to proceed You relay your commands to William, who tells the others what to do. Your Cult then goes forth to do your dastardly work.

Your Followers aren't professional orators, and what's more, they don't really have anything backing up what they say. They do, however, manage to convince 2 of the more Gullible Townsfolk to come to a Cult meeting...

Upon hearing the voice of William Oppenheimer they fall to their knees and become unshakable Fanatics. In the meantime the Cult attempts to gather information about Franklin Herpit.

After several days of intense Stalking Intensive Research, they discover the Following about Franklin.

-He's been having some trouble with his Wife lately.
-He drinks at the same Bar ever other day.
-He lives in a fairly nice wooden two-story home on the outskirts of Town.
-He is rumored to support the Hardened-Bronze Federation.

You think about starting a Ponzi Scheme, but then realize that there isn't much of a point when you don't even have the money to make it worthwhile. Or even access to a Market. Jonathon's Shop makes a Tidy profit this week, +200 Credits, -100 Credit's worth of Fishing Supplies On another note, Your Cult doesn't even have a name, or for that matter, even a Philosophy. Fleshing it out might help bring in Followers...

I have one overly-complicated plan:

Step 1:
Make a contract with one of our female followers. She will look beautiful to those of the opposing sex in exchange of seducing key targets for us and being a spy in general (it is preferible if she is one of the fanatic cultists).
Step 2:
Make her seduce Franklin at the bar. Make him drink a lot. Make her hear how much of a bitch Franklin's wife is, because he is probably more interested in that than in sex. Then make her leave the bar with him.
Step 3:
Lure Frankling to a place where we can just kidnap him, and do so.
Step 4:
Convert him, brainwash him, or whatever. Make him commit a muder-suicide with his wife, and leave their belognings to us. If this fails, just ritual-kill him, and eat his soul.
Step 4:
Install the rumour that he fled the town with this mysterious woman. If this fails, just spread bad rumours about him, and his supposed support of the Federation.

Any thoughts?


By the way, I suck at naming. And we need a cult name. We need help with that.

Wait, I think that I just got a name: We are The Vizaxi.

Oh, no, there is no hate in there. It is more like the classical plot in movies. But if it can be thought of as offensive, I will edit it out.

Actually, the plan would have been the same if they had opposite genders (changing the "bitch" for "asshole" or something like that). But, anyway, I can edit it out. I don't want to be offensive.
