Yeah, because that's a major thing that the Democratic Party's urban base cares about. If the inner cities started voting Republican or Texas went blue, there'd definitely be remarkable amounts of bitching from the wings.

One of the main policy priorities of the US democratic party right now is making sure that federal government subsidized healthcare is available to poor people in states where republicans control the state government.  The poor people who vote democrat already have federally subsidized healthcare, it's just the republican voters they want to make sure get it.

Right wingers everywhere sure do love to generalize about the way that the left views the poor.

Well of course, people dont like to lose.  There's already bitching by lefties about how the exurbs votes conservative and bitching from the righties about how the cities vote liberal.  But at the end of the day, progressives didn't say "well fuck those guys, they voted against us."  They took it to court, they introduced bills to help them and now they are campaigning to keep fighting to good fight.  If by some Trumpian stroke of luck democrats retook the house there is no doubt that the poor people in republican voting states would quickly start getting federally subsidized healthcare.

That's not what that infograph is saying. It took me a minute to unfuck it, but it means that "of the people who disapprove of the internet, 71% voted Leave". While of the people who approve of the internet it was about 50/50.
