To be doubly fair, wanting to lower immigration has nothing to do with racism.

Restricting immigration isn't racist per se, but a lot of the people campaigning for it are definitely pretty racist

I suspect it would have turned out as remain if more younger voters actually got out and voted. As I said before, I feel like I'm going to be telling people that didn't vote they have no right to complain.

"Immigration gets ignored" is a talking point that always seems to be used but it's entirely untrue. It was a major issue in the last election and Cameron renegotiated it with the EU.

If anything it gets a lot more discussion time relative to its importance than you'd expect.
