I don't know, ask LW. I think I remember him mentioning London secession at least once. I thought it was a joke at the time, so I didn't pay too much attention, but apparently it isn't.
Nah, London secession is not serious. What is serious though is London autonomy, which is pretty inevitable since rich Londoners want to safeguard themselves from Prime Ministers rising to power on the platform of take from London, give to Britain
Italeave is bestsounding one
Is... there a context that would make "White people" seem less like a racial slur?
The one where we deport white people
wait... Does Britain have ghosts that are full citizens? (wait... that would be even worse in that context... The undead have rights too)
Only gweilo
I am just going to assume by "White" they mean Caucasian. Unless "White" in Britain means English.
Urbanites use white to mean all white people, from farthest region of Siberian hellhole to sunniest Californian sands
And how the hell every "serious" poll and betting site predicted Remain will win? even the markets behaved as if Remain already won (Although they go by the Media). is it just a case of a serious Echo chamber mentality? we know today's journalists are basically a young and inexperienced humanoid copy/paste search engine, but have they actually unintentionally/intentionally tempered with the results, seeing/showing only what fits their agenda?
Our pollsters have been having hard times recently, in the 2015 general election all the polls said it would be neck and neck and turned out to be a landslide victory. Here is much the same thing again
Turns out polls aren't predictions of the future
It could be a case of journalists echoing but I should hope not, the one thing this has proven is that overconfidence kills. Gotta win before you call it a win
It's funny because David Cameron is directly and personally to blame for this with his rash promise. It would be one thing if the new global recession were caused by some ardent ideologue who hated the EU, but instead it was caused because a very short-sighted politician wanted to win a domestic election
One for the history books - he didn't even have a plan for what happened if he lost, that's the lethal levels of toxic smug he produced
We can only hope mate, we can only hope. We've done our bit, anyway, now it's up to the Yanks.
Centipedes raining from the sky,
Millipedes proving death may die,
Global catastrophe is what you see,
In one day, all is vulgarity
You keep to your side of the Atlantic you tea-drinking redcoat, and we'll keep to ours.
Murricans have been welcome in Brexit thread, to see Murricans close their doors in isolation to glorious cultural enrichment from British refugees would be racist af
This is a statement which i can't fully understand. Cameron is to blame because he chose to establish a democratic process? the UK voted out because the UK wanted out. denying the UK's public the right to determine their own fate is not a democratic action.
Chose democracy and lost, when literally he had support of everything
I like that the Chinese have a name for someone who manages to fail despite extraordinary support
Nope, I've seen a tweet from someone important person in EU saying that "Leave means leave" and if Britain leaves EU, then it will leave out of all EU agreements.
I think EU is going to try to make an example out of Britain by making it as hard as possible, mistakenly assuming that this will deter others from leaving EU, but which will instead only hasten the inevitable destruction of EU as more people will come to see EU as a tyrannical anti-democratic institution.
But all those people are RACIST
Grats for the Brexit camp I guess.
And the poor Brits will find out soon enough it changes shit, with the rich getting richer while the poor get poorer.
Well at least you can't scapegoat the EU now anymore.
People who are so wealthy they can afford currency speculations losing millions sounds hilarious to those who have nothing to lose - therein lies the problem with that
I do like that you defend innocent EU from brutal scapegoating, all the EU ever did was destroy southern europe and leave refugees in the desert, innocent EU literally did nothing wrong, that's why it's so unpopular
cost of brexit: gorillion quadrillion poundshekels
the look on his face: priceless
Tfw you can't wake up and realize it's not a nightmare
EDIT: Found out Anthony Burch (did he ever get his Wii U back?) disapproves of our glorious revolution. Damn, maybe we were wrong after all? Looks like the Remainers are in good company, anyway.
Remember, no matter how shit your life may be, you will never be Anthony Burch
I suspect it would have turned out as remain if more younger voters actually got out and voted. As I said before, I feel like I'm going to be telling people that didn't vote they have no right to complain.
Fucking rain
I WARNED YOU ABOUT THE THUNDERSTORMS BRO
All around social networks, pro-EU lads and folks are incredibly assblasted. And I thought "Old people shouldn't have the right to vote!" sentiments were exclusive to our post-USSR liberals.
Our left wing like working class people until they stop voting for them
