I'm trying not to take sides here, I'm just someone who can't take their eyes off this spectacle and want to know why it's such a bad outcome?

I have seen some of the economic fallout from it with the falling pound, but I'm also unconvinced that's not a temporary scare spike.

I will thank our crumpet-munching cousins for being a canary in the Welsh coal mine -- the Remain camp got fucked over by the youth vote flaking out, if exit polls are accurate. Democrats better do everything they can to turn out the youth vote, or we'll be making England look downright intelligent.

Pretty sure the Dems already lost the youth vote over here when they backed a centrist hawk instead of a socialist who would have done something about the student loan crisis.
