But also don't post about:
Cantr II (already playing)
D&D and similar
AND ALL THESE MMORPGs where there is too much of grinding!
and also these "pay 2 win" games

Space Station 13. Some servers are roleplay heavy, some are light, some are middleish. I personally recommend the Paradise Station server, it's in the middle but isn't super restrictive and has competent admins.

Also i guess you can try Two Worlds 1 or 2 theyt have multiplayer (and a whole multiplayer campaign while we're at it) but i can't tell if they are actually good or not.

I'm aware you said this, but waaaay back there were actually roleplaying servers for Neverwinter Nights. Unforetunately I honestly can't say whether or not there are RP servers anymore, or any servers at all, but the custom editor thingy allowed people to make RP-centric servers.

There was an RP-centric Freelancer server my friend used to play on. Again I can't say whether it's still active or not.

What I'm saying is, even in games where the main focus seems to be combat in multiplayer, you can sometimes find private servers that are meant for actual roleplay. There's even been some MMOs where people got together and designated a specific server for roleplay stuff.

But really, the only actual RP-focused game that comes to my head is Space Station 13. However, whenever I tried to actually roleplay in that game (regardless of server) people were more interested in playing it as a (clunky as hell) game rather than an... "in-character experience", or whatever it should be called. Not to mention lag and how janky movement and 'combat' is. Expect disappointment.
