Thus far for the year I am at four, best I can remember.

4 complete
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

There might have been a good number of books at the beginning of the year, but I certainly couldn't remember them unless I had covers to look at. I probably won't make 52 unless I can get another period where a novel a day is a reasonable usage of my time.

Time to test my memory...

Spoiler: 10/52 (click to show/hide)

I'll colour code later, and I might have forgotten a book or two.

I'm mostly finished The Godfather right now. It's good, and gripping, but I had to put it down halfway and read something else (the Solzhenitsyn) for a while. It's very intense.

I've read 3 so far. I get the feeling I need to pick up the pace.

PTW will make a list when I'm not using a phone.

Why not using Goodreads?

I've heard Minecart Airlines Express offers nice trips to nobility. Alternative trips include a voyage over the volcano. Call 1-800-I-THE-GUINEAPIG-VOLUNTEER and book now!

No time to read. My 1-hour commute to work one-way and another hour back, plus lunch-time nap gives me time to listen to audio books though.

I stopped selecting/browsing audio books to listen to from the public library; but instead get the 7 to 10 audio books next to each other on the shelf.

The checkout time is 2 weeks, with 2x 2-weeks online renewals.

I've had times when I checked out a book I formerly listened to.  So I discreetly vandalize the CD case cover with a dot from a sharpie pen, to indicate to myself that I've listened to the cd already.

I probably aren't going to manage to pull off the full 52, but ptw anyways.

Reading the Legends of the Galactic Heroes volume 1 official translation right now.

I still have a long way to go. Usually I'd manage to finish enough, but I'm rapidly running out of series that are interesting and that I have not read yet...

I don't suppose parts (big ones, like half (or more!) the thing) of books count, do they? If yes, I can probably add a ton of stuff to the list. Otherwise, it's going to be not that big. History course in university makes you read a lot of stuff, all the time (and with small deadlines because apparently teachers can't conceive that there are other subjects that also are handing out texts) and that leaves precious little time for non-academic stuff.

I'm fine with audiobooks and I consider parts of books or articles ok too, as long as you're happy with it (I'm sure that there's dyslexic people on the board, too, who should get to participate). Another option would be to set a smaller list of extracurricular books for yourself.
I swear I have never heard an audiobook in my life. I guess I'll just note down the pages I read in the list.
