Any way to get off-duty soldiers to wear armor all the time? 42.06

Even when set to "wear armor instead of clothes" they still strip down and get into civvies when not actively training.
I want them to stay in uniform all the time.

I've also tried making armor the only option to wear.  They just run around naked when off-duty.

(I run my fort with a complete citizen-militia)

It should be the default setting.
Under schedule, press u to toggle uniform/civ clothing option.

(m)ilitary -> (s)chedule -> (u): Inactive = Uniformed

Disable their Mining, Hunting and Woodcutting labors.

Miners, Hunters and Woodcutters cannot wear armor while in civilian mode.  There is no known workaround.

They definitely can. The problem is with the weapons.

Miners / woodcutters / hunters cannot wear armor unless they are active/training. WHen they are off-duty, they'll drop their armor (and combat weapon, if assigned, and pick up their working pick)

Good to know.  I set those labors on most civilians just so they have a weapon if attacked while working.
That is a big bug.  After all, those are the labors you most need armored!
