Can you ruler design in a loaded save? I completely forgot.

Actually, you could always play the Basileus for a bit, reign of terror, put randos (I.E. players) on the council, give in to my demands for elective monarchy, that kind of thing.

Could also use the guy in charge of Corinth.  Would both keep everyone on the same level and you would be able to help me out with the invasions of Lombardy and Africa.

Testing it out in single-player it seems that you can't ruler design after game start. You'll still be able to do the custom dynasty thing in-game though.

Is that an Ironman save?

No? Unless CK2 turns on ironman automatically now. I haven't played an ironman game since the feature came out.

Ah well. I haven't played a non-Ironman game :)) I know you can't change characters in an Ironman game, so I thought that may have been it.

The only bastard Scriver had he murdered. So, maybe you don't want to be one of his.

I was able to select different characters, so I think that explains that. I wish it was just an ironman problem, but I imagine ruler designing after game start causes too many glitches.

Hey, I was next in line for inheritance, and it's not like anybody knew she was my daughter except me and the mother.

It wasn't a choice as much as a natural consequence, actually.

Then one of my true-born daughters turned out to be hellspawn. I wonder why.

By the way, how is possible times looking for this week, putnam?

If it turns out that he can't run one, maybe someone could launch another server.  Putnam's would be the one played through a bit more seriously and needing to have everyone organized for it, while the second one would be on a basis of just playing regardless of who is there.  The AI would likely screw over some plans in that case, but all it would be is a server to just fuck around in.  Maybe use the Westeros mod for it?

The Game of Thrones\A Song of Ice and Fire mod is pretty good, and it just got an 1.1 update recently. Not sure how well it would run in multiplayer though, would probably need that mod that removes most of Essos. Not that we would miss much, I pretty much never look at the eastern half of Essos. After the End was also pretty fun, not sure if it is up to date though. Course there is also the Warhammer mod, never tried it so don't know how finished or stable it is. And also Elder Kings which would be fun if a bit unstable.

Also, found the official tree of my house https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pinus_brutia enjoy.

I'm guessing cutting Essos down is to reduce the amount of resources required?

Not exactly set in stone, but if the mod lags a lot in multiplayer it certainly can be cut without too much worry.

If it does need to get cut down, it would probably be best to only cut down Essos only of the stuff east of the Dothraki, so we spend minimal time trying to figure out which events need to be cut down on.  I know there were a lot coded to allow a 'follows the books' tree of events, and I think the Dothraki are the farthest east of those chains.
