Take a stab at the guard and run.

[4 vs AC10] You quickly jab at the guard before breaking into a run, and the guard in question [10+1 vs AC11] jabs back, which you barely manage to avoid.  [Athletics: 8 vs 9]  You make it to the door, but the guard is right behind you.  You aren't avoiding him anytime soon.

Keep punching this bastard.

[9 vs AC10] You deliver a flurry of blows, but your fists mostly glance off the guard's armour.  [7 vs AC9] Not that the guard himself has any more success hitting you with his truncheon.

One more Stab, Then I shall Retreat.

[4+1+1 vs AC10] Unfortunately, your last slash with the glass shard is about as effective as the previous attempts.  You make a break for it, leaving the guard to chase Skiva.

Try to stab the guy in the head and run into the shadows.

[6+1+1 vs AC10] You take one last stab at the guard's head, which he bobs out of the way of, [6+1 vs AC9] his own blow not quite managing to connect.

Kansora and Skiva both make a run for it, [4, 8] but Kansora's existing injuries slow him down and he isn't quite able to outrun the guard following him.  The guard is close enough to continue the exchange of combat next round.  Skiva manages to lose pursuit in the alleys of Uptown.  He is safe, for now.

Two more guards arrive from the front gate - Nix is now surrounded by three guards, each of whom look willing to take him on.

The unknown killer is presently fighting off his pursuer at the villa's back door.

Character sheet!
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

[Made a few adjustments accounting for your available resources.  You only have enough skill points for 1 level 2, 2 level 1 skills.  I'm not sure what you meant by "Pity" as a skill, so I blended it into Persuasion.]

Serenity, things have gone from bad to worse for you.  Ever since the death of your parents, you and your sisters have been forced onto the streets to survive, chiefly by begging.  You have made the occasional penny here and there ratting, which your mother's old bow is good for.  This afternoon, however, your found your sister Fox with bruises all along her side - whilst begging she encountered some northern merchant who took offence to her presence and had his guards kick her (quite literally) out of his sight.

That was the last straw.  Seeing red, you picked up your bow, arrows and knife and practically ran to Uptown.  You weren't sure exactly what you were going to do when you got there, and by the time you got to Uptown you found yourself starting to calm down.

You just heard sounds of fighting and shouting, however, and upon running to investigate you find yourself across the street from the back wall of a posh villa, where the same three guards who beat your sister are trying to beat an unarmed man in Watch uniform to death with their truncheons.

Will you stand for this?

"I'll be right back, hold on!"

Give the guy another slash, then go into the house and to the second floor.

Keep punching.  Punch till I die.

"COME ON YOU BASTARDS!", Nix roars.

They want to take you down?  They had better fuckin' earn it.  [6+1 vs AC10][8+1+1 (ganging up) vs AC9][7+1+1vs AC9][4+1+1vs AC9]  You can't land a blow worth a damn, but with all three crowding on you at once, one of them manages to make their truncheon count.  [5 damage!]  It really counts, hitting you heavily in the ribs.  You are winded, and you think you might be bleeding internally?  Not good.

[Intimidation: 9+1]  They don't have to know that.  "Come on you bastards!" you roar at them.  As far as they can tell you just shrugged off a blow that should have broken your ribs.  It gives them just enough pause for them to pull back a little, give you some space.

Serenity stares at this and feels that rage renew she is far from serene at this point.
HEY!! GET THE HELL OFF HIM!

DO THE ABOVE!

You nock your bow and aim at the guard who has taken a bit of a bruising already.  "Hey!" you yell, "Get the hell off him!"  [Intimidate: 11]  It works.  The guards certainly weren't expecting another attacker, much less one with a bow.  They back off away from you and the pugilist, two of them raising their truncheons cautiously.

Nix is badly injured and at 1 hitpoint, but Serenity and his combined intimidations have given him an opening.  They can retreat, should they wish, without risking further injury.

"I'll be right back, hold on!"

Give the guy another slash, then go into the house and to the second floor.

[6 vs AC10][8+1 vs AC11] A quick quip and a quicker slash with your blade, but no luck for either you or the guard.  Still, it gives you a half second of breathing room [Strength: 10] which you use to kick through the door's lock and kick the back door open.

The hallway of the villa stretches before you.  There is a balustraded stairwell going up to the second floor, but another of the guards is waiting for you at the foot of the stairs.  Also there's the fellow behind you.  Still, you can see a pair of double doors on the upper level that probably lead to a master bedroom.

Keep running!

[10] You are injured and winded, but you manage to lose your pursuit by the time you reach Midtown.  You have now successfully evaded pursuit by the guards or watch.

"Just...fine...", he says, trying not to collapse.

"I'm gonna have to sit the rest of this out...damnit...", he mutters to himself.

Looking up at this woman who came out of nowhere, Nix nods in thanks, before running off.

Retreat, as quickly as possible, assess damage to self.

Be safe!
Turn to the guards and say the below.
now then I want you to take me to your boss were gonna have to have a discussion...

[Persuasion: 11+2] You hold yourself up with the imperial, noble air that is your birthright and despite your rags the guardsmen actually go along with it.  They unlock the back gate and cautiously accompany you into the villa - where something of a scene is in progress.  A man in a breastplate (unlike that of the guards) has just legged it to the top of the stairs and pulled open the double doors of the villa's main bedroom.  Two more guards are chasing after him.  The guards with you start to hurry after them.

Jump to the end banister and back onto the stairs.

[Athletics: 10] You grab the banister with one hand and vault over it, past the guard, and leg it up the stairs before anyone can reach you.  You yank open the double doors and are greeted by the sight of a middle-aged, balding northern man in a dressing robe, stood beside a desk with some papers and a lit candle upon it.  He is wielding what looks like a fruit knife in one hand, and where the robe's sleeve has fallen back you can see a peculiar scar on his forearm - akin to a downward arrow or line with three diagonally upward arrows sprouting out of it on either side.

The two guards behind you are racing up the stairs.

You manage to reach safety and, should you wish, you can head back to Kansora's townhouse.  Looking at yourself, you're pretty banged up and your rib really frigging hurts.  You might need to see a healer; could be something you could get over by resting for a week or two, could be something serious.  [Heal: 10] From your experience in the ring, you'd say probably the former, but you'll want to keep your abdomen bound for a few days and try not to stretch out your torso too much.  With luck, you should be fine again in a week, maybe two.

Head home...
(I should have said this earlier but Skiva is a girls name...i think you can put two and two together.) Get as far away from that place as possible and wait until tomorrow

You both rendezvous back at Kansora's townhouse.
