Veliane "The Ebon Comet" Mirelante (Nakéen) Veliane listens silently to Reynard for a moment, and finally speaks up last.
"This sounds like an interesting proposition. Scientists will probably know a lot of valuable informations. Some of them will surely save our life down there, good job Reynard."
"Oh, and may I accompany you for the negotiations ? I won't butt in if you want to make the deal yourself, except if you are really getting taken for a ride."
Accompany Reynard -if he agrees-. Otherwise just wait patiently with the others, and chat with them in that case.

Jet goes and injects himself with the tracker, and heads over to the bar, though he never was one to drink, himself.
(-) You wake up and check the time. To your surprise you’ve only been asleep for a short while but it felt longer. You remember something about a bar, and figure that your squad mates might be there. Before you leave your quarters, you take the injector and stab yourself in the neck and dispose of it.
You head over to the bar and like you assumed, they were there. Though Reynard and Veliane are talking with some other people whilst Michelle and Mari are gleefully sitting down stairs chatting about something.
You hit the bar and quickly leave with some drink and join up with the girls downstairs.
“What are they doing up there?”“Oh, hey Jet. They’re negotiating a contract. Seems we’ll have work soon and we’ll be able to go to Atlas.”“Do you know anything?”Unsurely Mari answers
“No, not really. They’ll tell us soon, I think.”Michelle happily durdles around.
“What’s with Michelle?”“She had a drink, you can fill in the rest.”You sit down and drink up, waiting for the Reynard to finish and inform you of the contract.

Back to the science guys. Tell them the team seems interested in getting hired by them. Start getting the numbers - length of contract, amount of money that gets wired to our accounts and other such things.
- A quick conversation with the girls downstairs, quickly nets you a consensus of the majority. You return to the group with Veliane to overhear the negotiations and to bring over the good news.
"We're interested. But we'd like to settle things here and hear out your plans."
"Excellent" The person you previously spoke to says.
"What do you need to know?"
"Uff, How long will you employ us? How much will we get, even if little. How will you transfer the funds? You know, employment information."
"Makes sense." He takes out a holopad, flicks a couple times with a pen.
"Most of the things are written in here."
"We will hire you primarily for 2 expeditions. Afterwards we can discuss an additional contract for more work and different or higher payment, but that's something for the future."
"The total payment, excluding our services, will be 41k Credits. We work with a 25/75 system, where we pay 25% upfront and the rest afterwards. So that you may buy additional equipment and to entice you to complete the job. We can transfer the money where ever, we just need you to have us tell where."
"Once you accept the contract, you will be employed under our parent company 'Snowflake Corps'. "
"Parent? Who do you work for?"
"We're a part of 'Hexma Expeditions', like the name suggests we explore new territory for our clients so that they can expand their business. We too, are getting paid by them and don't have funds of our own and that's why you will be employed by them not us. We act as an intermediary. "
"What’s the name of our employer?"
“We unfortunately cannot provide it, as he prefers to remain unknown. He’s known by us under the alias ‘Kai’. We don’t know much more than that.”
"That’s unfortunate, Tell us more about the expeditions."
"Certainly. The 1st expedition will be from our base of operations located in a steppe like biome headed towards an geyser/volcanic area. We want to take samples from the waters there as reports generated by our drones suggest that the waters are extremely mineral rich and that there are gigantic water deposits underneath. But the local wildlife there is quite hostile and have thus far destroyed all land and -air based drones. We haven’t fully mapped the animals living there, so we can give little information in that regards."He scrolls down on his pad and nods.
"For our second, we will have to hunt down some wildlife. Some other group discovered that the animals named by them as the 'Sparktlas', are able to create blasts of electricity through their spiky scales. We want to capture them, alive if possible, so that our employer can study their biology for their plans. Whatever they may be. We will provide anything we know about these, once we come around to doing this."
"Other than that, you will provide for our safety if sudden dangers present themselves."
