your....27? Well you certainly don't look like what I imagined someone who was 27 would look like but anyway...I'm 18 and I'm okay with engineering and firearms lot better with bargaining and leadership though and I'll be piloting a wraith as squad leader I guess.

Veliane wakes up refreshed from her nap, and remembers Lorraine's words. Judging from all that she said, this may be the last bit of civilized comfort she will be able to enjoy for a long time.

For a mercenary, this is but a routine. She considers herself lucky she had the chance to take a shower and rest after the landing.

"The bar...the others will probably have gathered there."

She took a long moment to comb her hair, all the while staring at her pendant. She held it close to her heart and muttered an inaudible prayer to it, a good luck ritual for the days to come.

Checking her gear one last time, she left the room, heading to the bar.
