I'd like Edward II if it isn't too late.

((just gonna presume speeding up will not be an action...otherwise consider the following as an action)

An old sack of bones and two fools. Exactly the company the pope always wanted to have. Shaking his head he spurred his horse on towards the front of the papal baggage train.

Finally he reached the Captain of his Guard, a dour swiss man from the recently established country. The man was competent although is accent was atrocious and made conversation painful.

"Captain, i want the train to pick up the pace i want to be in the city as soon as possible.

In glorious ceremony the now rather ragged papal train arived in Toulouse. Papal Guardsmen marched in well ordered ranks followed by the various Cardinals and the pope himself and then the myriad of lesser servants and other people important to the workings of the Pontifex Maximus.

The Grandmaster's retinue has steadily grown in the past few days, as he siphons knights from Château de Cas. He has survived sixty years through caution, and, as far as he's considered, Toulouse is enemy territory. The peasants think his Order heretics, and de Molay remembers what happened to the Jews. If this "Philip the Fair" cannot control them, he destroys them.

The King cannot be trusted. De Molay must bide his time until the Pontifex Maximus arrives.

19th

Hundreds of Templars line the streets as the papal train arrives. Many of them have only been taken from Château de Cas for this event, but it is still an impressive show of force. The Grandmaster follows the train through the city, waiting for an audience with the Pontifex.

Even as the Pontifex rides through the gates of the city he recognizes the Grandmaster immediately.

"Grandmaster! I see you have prepared a welcome for me. Come, ride with me."

the king of France looks at the messenger not liking being interrupted and takes the message and opens it.The king of France silently wonders when the Pope and Templars will arrive.

We may skip til' the pope arrives if all players want to. If anybody wants to act during this period, either post in the thread or PM me.

New players will join on the next turn.

The pope looked incredulously at the Grandmaster who just spat out in front of him.

"I will not have this insolence Grandmaster and remove your men from the streets, you are frightening the townsfolk!"

Spurring his horse on as a clear indicator that this discussion was over, the pope rode to the palace.

It's more than the Pope is like "Hey bro! Come with me!" and then, without any post by playergame "What! Fuck you, I'm going home!". I assume there were some PM.

Yeah. Player interaction can and will be done via PM. If it discreet and private, of course. Oh, and I'm going to introduce new players today.
