The dating sim I want to make is one where all the girls are psychopathic murderers who will kill you if you aren't their perfect date... and the goal is to survive.

The ghosts of their previous victims help you a bit.

It is supposed to be a parody/satire of the "Just tell them what they want to hear even if it contradicts your own character" mentality with dating sims.

Well, the good news is Comrade Dmitri qualifies for that. The bad news is that even if you are perfect someone else might piss him off and you'll just be collateral damage
Though if you are going to do that, I would like to nominate Xantalos and Piecewise as love interests for that.

Well, just look up Mafia Sans, and you'll find plenty of options.

He can then be found in the common area.
He has three phrases which he will say at random if you talk to him.

That's all he does.
(I guess you can say he's a little... two dimensional.)

I understand many of you were excited but of the submissions, only three were usable.

But I'll do my best with those three.

They could still be tweaked to fit if you explained the problems with each of them. I'm not trying to tell you what to do with your own project, but take it as a recommendation if you really want to do this with more characters.

Instead of going through them 1 by 1 I'll just give a list of common issues

1) Character shot from upper chest up: Because of the text box, a character who cannot loom over it, will be obscured.
2) Character is cut off on the sides
3) Character presents a difficult-impossible to cut out due to non-transparent background

Now, if everyone had a character with boarders and it was basically a portrait (like a lot of videogames) that honestly would be a rather good solution and would fix the issue with the VAST majority of these issues.

I'll look into that as a solution.

I'd remove the background on my submission, but I'm not certain how to do that with a background that isn't a single color.
