Ooh, I forgot one question.  You say this'll be more lethal than the sports/martial art version in the anime (where the tanks are specially built to prevent actual penetrations and apparently use specially-prepared rounds to facilitate that).  How much more lethal?  I recall in the first game that crews seemed to start dying off pretty quick once the shots started flying, at which point it feels more like, well, an actual war than a sports game.

Well, unless you're talking Blood Bowl, but that's Blood Bowl, after all.

Hee.  Also still calling them BT-8s instead of BT-7Ms, I see. ^_^

in regards to the leader: will be chosen by you from one of the tank crews you can always change the captain between matches.

Yes we are talking blood bowl lethality...just assume we are in some weird fucked up universe where blood sport with children is a-okay. Also there is a first-aid skill ;) because none of you can afford it in the beginning rookie crews die quicker. More veteran teams will gain traits which will increase survivability...basically you send in 15 year old youngsters and out come thousand-mile stare veterans who have seen shit. <- Although much less serious and more Blood Bowl Humor like.

and yes  i will stay with BT-8 ;P

Have to say though, the high mortality last game came from a variety of lucky shots and very unlucky injury rolls...a bit like blood bowl, sometimes you get soo unlucky that you lose 3 or 4 star players to some basic tackles form lvl 1 nubs.

Are we limited to one specific side's tanks (As in, Allies or Axis) or can we mix and match?

EDIT: Nevermind, just looked at Stirks sheet and saw we can. Different question: Shouldn't there be more American tanks? I'm sure there was more than just the Sherman.

Initially you will have relatively (RELATIVELY) few options to choose from...thats still around twenty tanks or so. As the Game progresses more and more tanks become available for exceedingly prohibitive costs.

yeah could you update your sheet and assign crews to your tanks?

Also we need one more school ready to go and then i will set up the initial pairings to get this rolling. Of course you can still join at a later date there is effectively no limit to the players since this does only require me to handle two players at a time.

Done. Also noted one as "designated flag tank" for matches that aren't until one team is annihilated or surrenders, and specified a chain of command, and copied the stats of the tanks so you don't have to look through the tank stats post.
