General check for a group interested in playing Only War, with very high mortality. If you are curious what Himmelfahrtskommando means, its in a most basic translation a suicide mission. Has in german however far more euphemistic connotations.

In any case,
Games will be over IRC Fri/Sa/Sun Start Date for Sessions will be 6pm GMT+1 ending whenever people feel like it.

Since i'm bloody tired of people spending three to four sessions on regiments you will be provided with a bunch of choices:

a) Inquisitorial Support Regiment 616 "Caretakers" - a Stormtrooper Squad directly assigned to the Inquisition send to clean up messes in various Secret Inquisitorial bases when Grey Knights and similiar are on more important fronts

b) Abhuman Regiment 600 zbV - Abhuman Regiment, you can already guess that you are saddled with the shit assignments. zbV stands for "zur besonderen Verfügung" usually an attachment for German Penal Regiments during World War II

c) 5th Penitent Border Legion - Penal Regiment made up of "Volunteers" serving a very, very special purpose

d) Guard Regiment 15 - Generic Guard Regiment...truly there is nothing behind it...nu'uh...i have no special plans for that choice

e) 16th Burn Marine/Medium/Heavy Regiment - (you can choose one of the three) Secessionist Regiment...have fun surviving the empire

f) Navy Armsmen Campaign - you serve on a Navy Ship instead.

1.i need to know if you have time on the given dates and if not if you can provide an alternative date.
2.Your Choice in regards to the above Regiments.
3.Preferred Role(s).

in all above cases i will keep track of Regiments and their losses, which may cause some Roles to be only become available later and some to become unavailable due to losses.

2. I prefer option F, but if E3 involves tanks, I vote for that.

3. I would prefer small ships with torpedoes, like the Tirpitz.

we need however at least 1 or 2 more players for this to become workable.

In regards to Naval Personnel there are no specific rules for that but there is actually an example regiment, the Scintillians in the core rulebook. As Naval Arsmen your standard equipment would be actually better than that of a normal guardsman what with carapace and naval shotcannon.

Ship Wise...Sosoku what do you mean with the Tirpitz? I am not aware of any such class or ship...but yeah in regards to it you will pretty much have free choice.

Tirpitz was a German destroyer. Essentially, the flag ship of the German Navy. I won't go into details about it.

I'll also fix the class sometime today.
