Ok I could've sworn I made a post here yesterday, or rather today, at about 2:30 AM. I think I did everything except hit the post button for some reason. Oh well, I was rather exhausted and everything. Anyways, what I wanted to post was the thing I got carried away and couldn't finish in the end, but I finished it today so here it is:

As for the comments, Nirur, the case is supposed to be some sort of embodiment of fear, a black crushing slab. I guess the face could fire some sort of laser or something, but it's more about being an embodiment of horror of some sort. Antsan, they're part of a series of sorts that I'm building as I go, not sure how far I'll take them in the end, probably as far as my twisted mind takes me :D

Aye, for the most part I'm pleased with how he came out, especially considering how tired I was when I did the majority of the work :D

In contrast, have a somewhat uninspired mech of some sort, quick and dirty because I'm out of good ideas today:

Thought as much. I like that one eats what the previous one brings. Such a nice and thoughtful community!

Sadly it would be really weird to close the circle some day. Eater of ___, Bringer of Souls? It somehow lacks that sinister tone.

That thought has crossed my mind, and I do have a vague idea of how it'd end, you're kinda close but I don't want the source to be dependant on any of these other ones. The soul would be the source of emotion and creation in this case, all the other stuff, good or bad would come from it.

Also looking at it now I realise how fucked up his mouth is, god damn it I should've been in bed an hour ago, I don't have time to fix critical anatomy errors xd

Edit: Ok, quick flip and some paint slapped on top seems to have fixed it a bit, still not that great tho

@Shook, thanks bro, I really need to get into a habit of painting before 11 PM because I'm constantly lacking sleep this way :C

Them being phantoms hadn't crossed my mind at all, though I did consider them in some soulsy way in terms of backstory. Anyways, finally got myself to actually paint that thing that came to my mind some weeks ago, built up a whole potential story and world to it. We'll see where it goes.
