@TBF, could be, I'm still trying to figure out the exact stylistic direction I wanna take these so they're kinda all over the place.

Great stuff as usual brozilla, them's some good faces! Curiously enough, the thing that strikes me most is that you draw lips really well. Lips. I don't know what that says about me. :P

That might be partly because I used to suck horribly at them so I kinda focused on nailing them properly whenever I did studies so most of the time they come out okay, even tho it feels like I'm drawing them all the same with little to no variation XD
The main thing about them tho is that you gotta stop thinking of them as a line and realise that they're two wierdly shaped planes, set into the face slightly, and plan the light and shadow accordingly.

Anyways, two days I was absent from the laptop for the most part (I did try to do something last night but was far too exhausted), so have a Selfie Study Sunday thing:

I never indulge in selfies but yesteday, after the whole thing I felt kinda sexy tbh and figured I'd do a study of myself since I haven't done one of those in ages (think it might be well over a year now). Was debating doing the glasses or not, think I should've went without since they're kinda fucked looking :V

Do you mean the highlights? Or the few strokes near them? In either case it's light most probably, very loosely sketched in both cases so it might not look like it belongs there xD

I had an actual study that was going okayish, but I kinda got disgusted with how malformed the face turned out to be and just got rid of it :V

Mostly for rendering practice, wanted to see if I could make something that actually feels real and not a stylzed mess of crap, think it turned out okayish, the colours could use some fine tuning tho.

Basically what ShadowHammer said. I know EXACTLY how hard it is to come up with daily things, given that i've tried and ultimately stopped doing that at least twice. It just kind of turns into "wait shit, i have to draw something today but i don't feel for it blurgh", and well, that's not really how i'd want it to be.

ANYWAYS, your stuff has consistently been pretty damn good, even your tired sketchy things, so thanks for letting us in on the experiment to begin with. :v
