Free form roleplay

Rules:
Anything can happen unless the majority of the active players say it can't. If the majority of the players think one player is god modding then that player is god modding and that post is to be ignored.
Each player may post IC however they choose. The same for OOC.

Be consistent. Have fun. Don't make this unpleasant for each other.

There is no set time period.

Huh, I've always wanted to be part of these free-form things, but I always come across them when it's too late to join.

Anyway, I guess we'd have to decide where this takes place, first. Any ideas?

Ideas:
*Coal-belt of Virignia, 1920's.
*Australian Bush, any time period.
*Alternate History where Egypt became a superpower nation in the Medieval Times of Europe
*Jupiter with WWI-era Technology
*Bloodbourne-like setting where monsters/demons are hunted by baseball players

Sounds interesting. Could you please elaborate a bit?

*Alternate History where Egypt became a superpower nation in the Medieval Times of Europe
DEFINITELY +1-ing the hell out of this. Not trying to scarf, but it would be interesting to take it a step further and make it a mythological thing. Egyptians myths and pantheons. Lord have mercy. Also, not as alternate as one would think. Egypt was the place at one time. Everyone wanted a piece.

*Bloodbourne-like setting where monsters/demons are hunted by baseball players
+1 to this.

Suggestion: A mysterious realm that is spiritual and mystic in nature, with people who have amazing abilities (like Stands or magic).

@Tomasque: During the 20's, Virginia and specifically West Virginia were vital in the mass extraction of coal, more important than ever due to the rise of the automobile and the always exponential growth of national emegy needs. This was a "Coal Rush" in a sense with many people trying to snatch up the valuable commodities as quickly as possible which in turn lead to mining towns springing up all over the place. These towns were full of fun stuff to use for a setting: rowdy bars, loose laws, wildcard mobsters, ruthless capitalists and a hardy population that did back breaking dangerous work to earn a living. This period saw a shootout in West Virginia, one of the biggest in American history when a town of miners went up against a fleet of detectives, both sides gun blazing.

Egypt would be following Islam rather than the ancient religion.

Sadly, yes. Well, not really. But somewhat yes. Varies.

So it's almost like wild west, but also with mobsters? I'd definitely be into this... but couldn't we add a little magic/sci-fi twist to it?

 You know, just for kicks.

No... more like Back to the Future 3, except high-end technology is (more or less) commonplace, not a surprise.

Just realized - if we can't agree on the setting, we could have dimension travelling and, you know, include them all!

I feel like you'd be duplicating something if you did that...
