Walter eventually makes his way out to this cafe, the "Daisy Day Cafe" he thought she called it.

[Sl4cker]

A certain bespectacled girl leaned back into her chair outside of the cafe, drinking the last dregs of her coffee. "Haah... The day's already half-gone? I'll have to hurry up to meet my goal for today..." Flipping through her notebook absentmindedly, Lluvia looks up, sees Walter, and jumps slightly in surprise. She adjusts her beret and waves at him. "Hey! This might be an odd question, but do I know you? You look kind of familiar!"

[Adragis]

Akira wanders the streets, looking for something to occupy herself with.
Meanwhile, Samantha hangs about on a street corner.

[SOLDIER First]

Either Akira or Samantha may see a young woman with a very strange outfit and a sword strapped to her back.

[Powder Miner]

Walter squinted, tapping at his head, before some level of recognition dawned in his eyes and he nodded. "Yeah, New Moon, right?"

[Sl4cker]

"Knew it! I'd recognize that mop on your head rain or shine!" Chuckling to herself, she gestures to the seat in front of her. "So you found the Endless City, then, er, Walter? New faces seem to pop out every single day around here."

[PrivateNomad]

"Okay, good.
Sorry for, you know, tackling you in the middle of the street. Uh, what's been up?"

"Nothin' much really. Made a few good scores."

[Adragis]

Akira can't help but stare at the odd garb, despite its prevalence in this city.

[SOLDIER First]

"Like what?"
Its wearer simply smiles at Akira as she passes.

[Adragis]

Akira returns the smile, as well as a raised hand of semi-passive greeting.

[Empiricist]

"Ah! That's fine, musn't keep you, of course. Good luck!"
And with that, Maya's innocent, child-like even, smile begins to fade. As she hangs up, her gaze meets the phone's time display. Once, that alone would have sent her into a dizzying panic, rendering her motions clumsy and frantic in equal measure. That day, however, had passed, for all novelties fade into the routine in time. She slowly saunters by Akira and the sword wielding lady as she carefully pockets the device.

[Powder Miner]

Walter takes her invitation and sits down. "I've, uh, been here for a while, actually, just haven't come across this part of it before. It's a pretty big place, after all."

[Sl4cker]

"Ah, I see. So how has life been treating you since graduation? I've landed myself a job as, you'll never guess, a comic book illustrator!" She holds up a copy of a bizarre-looking comic book featuring what appears to be colorful humanoids fighting in front of muscular men and women. It seems quite detailed and well-drawn. "We're pretty popular around here!"

[SOLDIER First]

"Hello."

[Empiricist]

"Hello."

"Good afternoon."
She nods curtly, taking care not to focus on the individual threads of the newcomer's garments.
